Grousefest 2026
Event Date: Sep 12, 2026
Event Location: Grouse Ridge Campground
BONC will once again host a weekend of trail building, camping, and fun times in the Grouse Ridge area off Highway 20. We’ll camp Friday and Saturday night at the Grouse Ridge campground which has an amazing view, pit toilets and no potable water. Bring your own water supply or filters for the trail (although BONC will have back up water as well). Sack lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, plus beverages from a local sponsor.
From the Grouse Ridge Campground, we'll be heading North on the Grouse Ridge Trail approx. 1.5 miles to connect with the Glacier Lake Trail. Meet at 8:30 am for a 9 am departure from Grouse Ridge Trailhead Saturday morning. We will be working a 3-mile stretch of the Glacier Lake Trail clearing brush and debris out of the trail bed, clearing trees and re-establishing original trail bed. BONC will have tools, but feel free to bring loppers, hand saws, rakes or McLeods if you have them. Bring gloves and appropriate shoes and clothing for a day on the trail!
