A special event to enjoy Placer Land Trust's Big Hill Preserves. This Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration is for Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce members, families, and friends. The trails on these preserves meander past spectacular rock formations, the flowing Raccoon Creek, and panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada foothills and Sacramento Valley. The Preserves are currently private property and will be opening to the public in a year or more, but for this event participants will have the place to themselves! Join a docent-guided family friendly hike or enjoy the preserve on your own. Arrival must be between the hours of 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. (docent guided hike begins at 8:30 a.m.) Depart any time between 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
