Kick off Homecoming week during Family Weekend with an untimed, fun run! The event is open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members. Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this event is all about fun, movement, and Husker pride.

This event will begin and end on the Nebraska Union plaza.

Standard 5K Rules & Guidelines:
Distance: 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
Timing: This is a fun run and will not be chip-timed.
Age Requirement: Open to all ages; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Course Safety: Stay on the marked course. Listen to all volunteer and event staff instructions.
Headphones: Permitted but please keep volume low for safety.
Respect: Show courtesy to fellow runners and walkers. This is a community event!
Weather: Rain or shine—dress accordingly. Severe weather may postpone the event
