2025 Nurdle Hunt (International Plastic Pellet Count)

Event Location: Kingman Island, Anacostia Park, and Diamond Teague Park

Please join us for a low tide walk to sample the Anacostia River for nurdles! Nurdles are small plastic pellets which serve as raw material in the manufacturing of plastic products. Data collected from this event will contribute to a scientific journal that tracks the distribution of plastic pellets globally.
