Home School, Preschool and After School Class Policies

Please read the following IMPORTANT Little Beakers' policies regarding payment, cancellation, refunds, makeups and class rules.

 

Classroom

  • Parents, grandparents, caretakers or guardians are not permitted in the classroom.  Any exceptions will be made at Little Beakers management's sole discretion.
  • Any student who engages in disruptive or unsafe behavior, as deemed by Little Beakers staff, will be reported to the student's parent, guardian or caregiver.
  • Little Beakers reserves the right to, and at its sole discretion may, exclude a student from a class and/or any future classes due to disruptive or unsafe behavior.  Any unused tuition will not be refunded.
  • Every student will keep a journal (journal supplied by Little Beakers) that will contain all worksheets and reports from each week's class.  Journals will be kept at Little Beakers, however, you may take your journal home whenever you wish.  It is your responsibility to bring it to the next class.  All students will be given their journals at the end of the school year.

Timely Payment and Attendance

  • Auto-billing is required unless you pay for an entire semester in advance.
  • The card you use/d to pay the registration / materials fee (the card on file) will be used to set up auto-billing.
  • The card on file for your registration will be charged on the 15th of each month for the upcoming month's classes.
  • Your account must be current to continue to be registered for and attend classes.

Cancellations

  • You may cancel at any time.
  • In the event that  you cancel, any unused full month's tuition will be refunded (see Refunds below). 
  • A $15 administrative fee will be charged to the card on file for cancellations requiring the refund of unused tuition.
  • Any registration fee waived due to paying in advance will be deducted from any refunded tuition upon cancellation.
  • Little Beakers reserves the right to cancel any class without notice and for any reason.  

Refunds

  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Partial month or prorated tuition will not be refunded.
  • Prorated refunds of tuition (or make-up sessions where possible) due to any cancellations of classes made by Little Beakers will be made at Little Beakers management's sole discretion.

Makeups

  • A missed class may be made up during any class session of any level at either the Cypress, Katy or The Woodlands location throughout the school year, subject to availability and Little Beakers management's approval.
  • You must call or email us to let us know the day and time you wish to make up the class.

Other Fees

  • A $28 processing fee will be assessed for each returned check.

Electronic Signature Consent*
By checking here, you are consenting to the use of your electronic signature in lieu of an original signature on paper. You have the right to request that you sign a paper copy instead. By checking here, you are waiving that right. After consent, you may, upon written request to us, obtain a paper copy of an electronic record. No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. Your agreement to use an electronic signature with us for any documents will continue until such time as you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to use an electronic signature. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address in order to contact you regarding any changes, if necessary.
