I recognize that there is an element of risk in any adventure, sport or activity associated with the outdoors.

Fly fishing may involve walking and wading in rough terrain. If any person in my party has a serious medical condition which may be relevant, I have disclosed this information to the guide/instructor(s), High Desert Angler Inc. and High Desert Angler Guiding Company, Inc. I am fully cognizant of the inherent risks, dangers and rigors required in fly fishing and I certify that I and my family, including minor children, are fully capable of participating in this activity.


The main risk is an accidental hooking by yourself or another member of your party I realize that my personal safety is my own responsibility. I have agreed to provide eye protection. The guide is not responsible for providing you with eye protection. Therefore, I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and/or to members of my family, or loss or damage to my personal property and expenses thereof as a result of my negligence of my family participating in said activity except to the extent such damage or injury may be due to the negligence of High Desert Angler Inc. or of High Desert Angler Guiding Company, Inc.


I further understand the guide, High Desert Angler Guiding Company, Inc. or High Desert Angler Inc. reserve the right to refuse service to any person they judge to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in Fly Fishing.


I also understand that I am responsible for any charges related to the repair or replacement of any rental gear I have used.

I have read, understand and accept the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon the parties during the entire period of said activity.

 

State of New Mexico Self-Isolation Visitor Compliance     High Desert Angler Guiding Company

The New Mexico Department of Public Health is committed to mitigating the widespread community transmission of COVID-19 by enforcing self-isolation for all persons travelling into New Mexico.

All visitors are expected to comply with New Mexico masking and distancing guidelines while in our state, and would be subject to whatever rules exist in their state of residence when they go home.  Self-Isolation & Self Quarantine.  If a traveler has or develops any respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath) or diarrhea, fever, loss of taste/smell, they need to call the New Mexico Department of Health Hotline at 855-600-3453 and press option '2'.  Compliance I understand that myself and any individuals in my group can be court ordered to self-isolate or self-quarantine if individuals are not compliant with the provisions of the Public Health Emergency Response Act and that civil and criminal penalties may also be imposed on as is warranted under the Public Health Act declared in Executive Order 2020-054 if I/we choose not to self-isolate or self-quarantine as required by the public health order.

High Desert Angler Covid-19 Protocol


High Desert Angler guide service will be running trips as normal, with a few necessary changes.


1. We will not be including lunches on full day trips to eliminate any concern about contamination caused by food preparation.
2. At this time, we cannot provide transportation for clients.
3. Our guides and all clients will wear face protection during the trip as needed, mainly in close contact scenarios.
4. All of our guides will use hand-sanitizer throughout the trip, as needed. Clients are highly recommended to bring hand-sanitizer for themselves.
5. Our guides will avoid unnecessary handling and transferring of rods, but will continue to take care of setting up your rig, netting your fish, and getting you untangled if/when that happens.
6. All equipment has been properly washed and sanitized after each trip.
7. Clients are strongly encouraged to acquire their own fishing license prior to the trip. Licenses can be purchased through the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Website
          You will need to purchase a one day or five day license depending on the number of trips you are doing as well as the required stamps:
               • Habitat Stamp
               • Habitat Management Access validation stamp


For everyone’s safety, we require that any person feeling adverse symptoms NOT take the trip.

We will be happy to reschedule your trip for another time. It is recommended that if you have any Covid-19 symptoms you wait the recommended 14-day period before doing your trip.


Thank you for understanding, clients must agree to the above terms prior to participating in any guided fly fishing trips with High Desert Angler.
