Firearms can only be released after completion of an FBI NICS background check. Calibers is required to follow all state and federal laws pertaining to firearms transfers. Federal law requires an ATF form 4473 and a background check, through the FBI NICS system, is completed before we may release any firearm to a non-licensee. A current government issued photo identification card with current physical address is required to preform a background check. Calibers will only release a firearm if either: a proceed status is received or a delay status is given and one week (7 days) has passed. Calibers reserves the right to refuse transfer to any individual for any reason. The individual that purchased the firearm must be the person that picks it up. This individual is usually denoted on the packing list or invoice. In the event of a denial, the firearm must be returned to the sending shop. This will be charged to either the sending shop or the person who was denied. Age & Residency Requirements Handguns (Pistols & Revolvers) - Must be 21 years old
