Policies We are committed to providing participants with a safe place to learn and explore. As a student at the Virtual Audition Intensive, participant will be using Zoom to access instruction. All Zoom links will be changed weekly and sent to the parent/guardian email that you will enter (if participant is under 18) or to the participant email. We will also record all classes to the Zoom Cloud for further safety purposes. Participants must follow rules and guidelines shared by Virtual Audition Intensive staff and instructors. For participants over 18: I understand that I will need to access Zoom in order to participate in Virtual Audition Intensive. I understand that I will need to use the hardware and software on at-home technology to participate in Virtual Audition Intensive. In joining this virtual program, participants will need to use their webcams. Program hours end at 5:30. Participants will not be asked to remain visible on the webcam outside program hours. I understand that my instructor may make class materials available on Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or a similar platform, and request me to upload my work for review or to compile into final group pieces. I have provided my email address for Virtual Audition Intensive to use in sending Zoom links or other confidential communication. I promise that I will not forward, post or otherwise publish this confidential information. I give permission for my image and work to be used as postive examples of work created at Virtual Audition Intensive in future materials such as brochures, the Arena Stage website and other applications. I will not be identified by name without my permission. I understand participants may not share the work of others that is created at Virtual Audition Intensive on any other platforms without the permission of the user. I will practice proper online conduct. No hate speech, discrimination, or bullying (including cyberbullying) is allowed in Virtual Audition Intensive programming, video chats, or communications of any kind. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior. Bullying of any kind, including cyberbullying, may result in expulsion from the program with no refund provided. Virtual Audition Intensive assumes no liability for injury or damages arising from the result of participation in its classes, workshops, camps or programs unless due to gross negligence or willful fault on the part of Virtual Audition Intensive. To the best of my knowledge, there are no physical or other conditions that may interfere with my participation that I have not already disclosed. I affirm that I have read and agreed to these policies. For parents of participants under 18: I give permission for my child to access Zoom in order to participate in Virtual Audition Intensive. I give permission for my child to use the hardware and software on at-home technology to participate in Virtual Audition Intensive. I give permission for my child’s image and artwork to be used as positive examples of work created at Virtual Audition Intensive in future materials such as brochures, the Arena Stage website and other applications.
