2023 TISC Regatta Waiver

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement


BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT YOU WILL WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING RIGHT TO SUE


I hereby release Toronto Island Sailing Club (the Club), its officers and directors, and all other members and their guests from any and all damages and claims relating to Club activities anywhere, including the 2023 TISC Regatta, or to any activities on Club grounds or with Club facilities and equipment. I further agree not to make any claim relating to such matters against any party that may then be entitled to reimbursement from the Club. I understand that my activities as a participant in the 2023 TISC Regatta may be photographed or videotaped. TISC may use the photographs and video footage taken without permission or compensation, including for promotional purposes. I also understand that as a participant I may receive occasional emails from time-to-time about club events and communications.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be at least 19 (nineteen) years of age to participate.

I have read and understood the forgoing assumption and risk, and release of liability and I understand that by signing it obligates me to indemnify the parties named for any liability for injury or death of any person and damage to property caused by any negligent or intentional act or omission. I understand that by signing this form I am waiving legal rights.
