RISK AND PROTECTION

• Anyone at least 16 years old, subject to the terms of this Form and adherence to Event rules, may participate in Event activities including Skate Sessions

• All participants under 16 years of age must wear protective equipment. A helmet is mandatory, and knee pads, elbow pads, and appropriate footwear are strongly advised.

• Skaters over 16 may request not to wear elbow/knee pads but must accept responsibility and be experienced

• All under 18 years of age must have a parents authorisation

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

By signing this form, you acknowledge and agree:


1. You meet the age requirements for the activity you are participating in.

2. You understand and accept the risks of skateboarding, which may include serious injury or death.

3. You will not hold BSS legally or financially responsible for accidents, injuries, or damage occurring during the Event.

4. You assume all risks of accident, injury, illness (including infectious diseases), or death for yourself and/or your child(ren).

5. You authorize event staff to act in the best interest of your or your child(ren)’s emergency medical care.

6. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless BSS and associated from any claims related to your or your child(ren)’s participation.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & MEDIA RELEASE

By signing this form, you:

- Agree to be filmed/photographed/recorded during the Event.

- Grant unlimited, worldwide, irrevocable rights to BSS to use your image, voice, or likeness in any format or media, including television, cinema, print, digital, and social media.

- Assign all related intellectual property rights to BSS.

- Waive all moral rights and understand you will not be contacted again for additional approvals.

DATA PROTECTION

Your personal information may be collected and processed for the purposes of:

- Record keeping

- Marketing and advertising (if you opt in)

- Communication related to the Event

Your data will be handled in accordance with Data Protection Laws

If you have concerns, contact BSS or the Information Commissioner’s Office.

OTHER TERMS

- You have the legal authority to sign this Form.

- You understand and accept that published materials may include distortion or illusionary effects.

- You confirm that your contribution is factual and agree to keep details confidential until first transmission.
