SNOWBOWL SNOWSPORTS SCHOOL AGREEMENT, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK AND LIABILITY RELEASE 2024-25

Snowsports School Agreement, Acknowledgement of Risk and Liability Release. In consideration for the right to use the facilities and to participate in the Snowsports School programs at Montana Snowbowl (MSB, Inc.) I am responsible for reading this entire Agreement and signing at the end indicating that I acknowledge the risks associated with winter sport activities at MSB, and request that I be allowed to participate in MSB Snowsports School activities acknowledging that I understand and assume these risks.

I am aware of and acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved in participating in skiing, snowboarding and other winter sport activities as well as environmental conditions, natural or man-made hazards, that can result in severe bodily injury including death property damage, or mental challenges. I am aware of and agree to observe MSB, Inc. rules, Montana State Law (23-2-736 MCA, 23-2-735 MCA) and the “Your Responsibility Code”. I am aware that my child may ride the lift with another adult, minor or alone. My participation is voluntary and I acknowledge that I have the opportunity and it is my responsibility to inspect and assess these risks. I agree to assume all these risks and to release, hold harmless and indemnify MSB, Inc. from claims or liability for any damage or personal injury to myself and all others named on this application, including any minor children, that may result from the use of these facilities and activities including claims based on ordinary negligence.

This Agreement shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any claim or dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement or the enforcement or interpretation hereof shall be brought solely and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting within Missoula County, Montana, and the parties hereby consent and submit to the jurisdiction of such court. 

I am aware that my child may be riding the lifts alone.

I consent to the commercial use, without compensation, of images taken of me or my minor children using these facilities. 

By signing this document you may be waiving your legal right to a jury trial to hold the provider, MSB, Inc., legally responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from risks inherent in this recreational opportunity or for any injuries or damages you may suffer due to provider’s ordinary negligence that are the result of the provider’s failure to exercise reasonable care.

Ski School Lessons & Programs Refund Policy: 

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility within our programs. However, please note that we do not offer refunds or makeup classes for missed sessions.

  • If you need to cancel your registration 7 days or more before the lesson start date, you will receive a full refund.
  • For cancellations made within 7 days of the lesson start date, we will issue a credit to be used during the 2024/2025 season.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the program start date or later will result in no refund.

Snowbowl Ski School has the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to safety hazards, unfavorable weather, or unforeseen circumstances. Make make sure you are registering with a current email address so our Ski School Office can communicate any changes with you in a timely manner.
