Waiver of Liability

Welcome to the GO Center!

We’re so glad you’re here. Before you or your child participate in any of our programs or experiences (listed below and collectively referred to as the (“ACTIVITIES”), we ask that you carefully read and agree to the following Waiver and Release of Liability.

This Waiver and Release of Liability (“AGREEMENT”) is entered into by the undersigned adult participant and/or the parent or legal guardian of any participating minor(s), in favor of the GO Center, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, affiliates, and assigns (collectively, “the GO Center”).

Activities Covered

This Agreement applies to all ACTIVITIES offered by the GO Center including, but not limited to:

  • Global Adventure 
  • Global Challenge 
  • Special GO Center Events, Activities and Programs

Understanding the Risks: I understand that participating in these ACTIVITIES can involve risks, including possible injury, emotional harm, or even death. These risks can be obvious or hidden, expected or unexpected. I confirm that I (or my child, if signing for a minor) am in good health and physically able to take part in the ACTIVITIES. I fully accept and take responsibility for these risks.

Medical Authorization

I authorize the GO Center to seek medical treatment in case of an emergency for myself or any minor(s) listed. I understand that I am responsible for all medical costs incurred as a result of illness or injury during participation.

Release of Liability and Promise Not to Sue: Even though I understand the risks, I (for myself, my spouse, and/or my child) agree not to sue the GO Center or hold them responsible for any injury, damage, or loss that may happen while participating in the ACTIVITIES—even if it's caused by their negligence. This includes claims related to any staff, volunteers, equipment, or others working on behalf of the GO Center.

Promise to Cover Costs (Indemnification): If I (or my child) cause any harm or damage while participating in the ACTIVITIES, I agree to cover any costs, including legal fees, that the GO Center may face as a result. If someone tries to bring a claim against them because of me or my child, I’ll also cover those costs.

Use of Photos and Videos. I give the GO Center permission to take photos and videos of me (and/or my child) during the ACTIVITIES and use them in any way, including for promotional or marketing purposes. This permission lasts forever and can be used worldwide, with no restrictions or payment.

Rules and Behavior Expectations

I agree, and will ensure that the minor participant(s) agree, to abide by all the GO Center rules, safety guidelines, and instructions from staff and volunteers. Failure to follow these rules may result in dismissal from the activity without refund.

Duration of Agreement. This waiver and release remains valid for all current and future participation in the GO Center ACTIVITIES, including repeat visits, events, or programs. For minors, this agreement remains in effect until the child reaches 18 years of age, at which point they must sign their own waiver to continue participation. The GO Center reserves the right to require an updated waiver at any time.

I confirm that all the information I’ve provided is accurate. By signing below, I acknowledge that I’ve read and understood this waiver, and I accept all of its terms. I understand that by signing, I am giving up the right for myself, my spouse, and/or my child to sue the GO Center — even if they were partly or fully at fault.
