JONES POND CAMPGROUND RULES – 2024 DRIVING: Park speed limit for vehicles and golf carts is 5 MPH. No driving on the grass. EXPLORING THE PARK: When exploring the park, especially at night, campers should exercise caution. Using a flashlight at night is mandatory. Be aware that some areas have uneven grounds. Avoid getting close to the creek bed and unfamiliar areas at night. Paths and roads are unpaved and uneven, roots and possible tripping obstacles may be present. Use caution while moving around the campground. CAMPFIRE: NEVER leave your campfire unattended. ALCOHOL/MARIJUANA: Your safety is our top priority. Public consumption of alcohol or marijuana to the point of physical or mental impairment is prohibited. If you find yourself in such a state, please stay safe within your campsite. SMOKING/VAPING: Tobacco and marijuana smoking is not permitted inside any buildings or outside the barn windows. Observe non-smoking signs at the pool. GLASS:Do not bring glass to the park where possible. If you must, glass in any form is not permitted off your site. DO NOT BRING GLASS BOTTLES INTO THE POOL, BARN / DANCE HALL. Wine bottles at the cafe are acceptable provided they are secured. PUBLIC CONDUCT: Overt sexual activity is not permitted in the public areas (if we can see it, it’s public). Be mindful that everyone differs on what is fun for them, don't presume they would like what you like. We have a zero tolerance policy regarding hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or any form of verbal abuse or degrading language. This includes but is not limited to racist, or discriminatory language or behavior, vulgar, profane, or obscene language, personal insults or attacks, body shaming or mocking of physical appearance, expressing prejudice or hate toward protected groups. Everyone deserves to feel respected, safe, and free from harassment or discrimination of any kind. We strive to maintain an environment of mutual understanding and respect for all. NUDITY: Jones Pond is a clothing-optional campground in most areas. Clothing is required at the front of the park and while walking outside the barn & café, to and from the pool area and outside the upper shower house. Clothing is required at all events where food is served. PHOTOGRAPHY: No photography or video recording is permitted in pool areas without prior approval from the management. Obtaining explicit permission is mandatory before taking someone's picture or recording their video. Capturing individuals without their consent is strictly prohibited. Posting or sharing someone's picture or video on social media platforms or any other public forum is not allowed without their explicit permission. The use of drones is only permitted with management pre-approval. PETS: We love them, you love them! We welcome all non-aggressive dogs. Only 3 pets are permitted per site. Pets must be on a lease at all times. If your dog doesn’t get along with others, avoid bringing them to social events. Excessive barking is not permitted. Leaving your pets outdoors unattended is prohibited. Pet owners should bring with them a copy of up to date vaccines in the unlikely event that the local department of health visit's the park and asks for them. DAMAGES:You are liable for any damages caused to the allocated accommodations, campsites or property caused by you and/or your party during your stay. Jones Pond Campground & RV Park reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good of loss, damage, cost, or expenses incurred or suffered by Jones Pond Campground & RV Park as a result of the aforementioned. CAMPSITE CARE: Please burn all burnable items in your fire ring and place household garbage in the dumpster across from the Camp Store. Take home larger items such as unwanted camping gear or supplies, tarps, broken tents and other items of this nature. Do not place those in our garbage bin, thank you. MUSIC & NOISE: Quiet time is 11pm and 10am out of courtesy to the other campers. POOL: Pool rules are posted in the pool area. They include: NO DIVING. THERE IS NO DEEP END. Bathers must shower before swimming. Emergency phone is in front of the camp store. Call 911 in the event of an emergency. No glass or pets are permitted in the pool area. Two or more adults must be present at the pool, with one on the pool deck. An adult must accompany children less than 16 years old. It is prohibited to urinate, spit or blow your nose in the pool. Persons ill with diarrhea are prohibited from entering the pool. Running or excessive horseplay is prohibited. No oil-based lotions in the pool. ______________________________________________________________________________ I AGREE THAT SECOND HOME LLC, D/B/A AS JONES POND CAMPGROUND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INJURY TO ANY PERSON, OR FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY (INCLUDING LICENSEE’S PROPERTY) OCCURRING IN OR ABOUT THE SITE FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING THE NEGLIGENCE OF JONES POND. LICENSEE AGREES TO JOINTLY AND SEVERALLY INDEMNIFY JONES POND AGAINST AND HOLD JONES POND HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSS, DAMAGE, LIABILITY AND EXPENSE (INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS FEES AND OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH DEFENDING ANY CLAIM) RESULTING FROM ANY ACTUAL OR ALLEGED INJURY TO ANY PERSON OR FROM ANY ACTUAL OR ALLEGED LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY (INCLUDING LICENSEE’S PROPERTY) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SITE BY LICENSEE, OR CAUSED BY OR RESULTING FROM ANY ACT OR OMISSION OF ANY THIRD PARTY (INCLUDING CRIMINAL ACTS), OR CAUSED BY OR RESULTING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE JONES POND. THE INDEMNIFICATION SHALL SURVIVE THE EXPIRATION OR SOONER TERMINATION OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT. THIS INCLUDES THE SEASONAL SITE AND WINTER STORAGE IF APPLICABLE. I hereby agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth in this document. I understand that failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the premises and/or potential legal consequences, depending on the severity of the violation. |
