Boat Rental Reservation Request

Gilligans Rental Dock Staff arrive at 7am EDT. Guests are encouraged to arrive and begin their voyage as early as possible to maximize fun and value. All boats are due back at the courtesy dock by no later than 6 pm EDT regardless of the start time.

Early Bird Bonus

Early Bird Bonus Guests are due back by Civil Twilight. (see civil twilight table Civil Twilight Hours (gilligansboats.com) You can earn the Early Bird Bonus if you 1. rent any boat at the 8-11 hr. rate, and 2. prepay in full in advance when you make your reservation.

Select your boat

Guests are required to list one or more favorite boat selections as availability is limited during peak visitation. When selecting a boat look for motor horsepower, furniture and design features best suited for your planned activities like fishing, tubing, skiing etc. Select a boat with a maximum capacity equal to or GREATER THAN your expected number of total guests to ensure comfort.

Reservation Policy

Reserving is a valuable service for which Gilligans Boats charges 40% of your selected boat rental balance and also requires a minimum rental rate commitment, and date certainty from our guest. During peak visitation we will reserve your boat of choice for you while turning scores of other families away possibly without a boat at all. In return for this valuable convenient service Gilligans Boats requires your acceptance of our reservation terms including our cancellation and refund policy. In order to accept your reservation request you, our Guest, must agree to the following:

Prepay a minimum payment of 40% of your rental balance. If you cancel your reservation less than two weeks from your rental date you will NOT receive a refund. If this late cancellation occurs then you may apply your full prepayment amount toward boat rental through mid October. There is no cancellation fee if you cancel your reservation with more than two weeks notice. If you cancel your reservation more than two weeks from you rental date then you may receive 100% refund (less 6.9% processing fee).

Guests who choose to pre-pay in full when they make a reservation may request 100% refund (less 6.9% processing fee) for cancellation more than two weeks prior to the reserved date. A 60% refund (less 6.9% processing fee) is available for cancellation two weeks or less prior to the reserved date.

Reservation Minimum

Reservations are accepted at the eight to eleven hour rate (8-11 hr. rate) ONLY. The 8-11 hr. rate is the minimum rate at which reservations will be accepted .

Early Bird Bonus

Normally all boats are due back at the dock by no later than 6pm EDT regardless of your start time. Guests who reserve at the 8-11 hr rate and also prepay in full when they reserve earn a bonus a due-back time extension beyond 6pm until Civil Twilight (see Civil Twilight Hours (gilligansboats.com) for date time table.

Rental Process

Please complete all online electronic rental forms prior to your visit. Completeion of the Rental Agreement is required as part of your reservation process.

No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address in order to contact you regarding any changes, if necessary.
