Kayak Waiver

While kayaking or paddleboarding is not inherently hazardous, there are risks associated with all watersport activities. Proper training in the use and care of the equipment, a thorough knowledgeof how the equipment operates, and being mindful of safety at all times can reduce the hazards.

Venice Boat Rentals warrant that the equipment being rented is in good operating condition at the time of rental. HOWEVER, it is subject to damage and /or change in adjustment during transportation and/or misuse. For that reason Venice Boat Rental cannot accept any reponsibility for the condition or operation of the equipment once it has been inspected and accepted by the renter and leaves the premises.

I Agree

By signing this agreement, the renter agrees that;

  1. They are fully aware of the inherent risks associated with kayaking or paddle boarding, and that they wish to proceed and freely accept and assume all risks, dangers and hazards.
  2. The equipment being rented is for their exclusive use and will not be loaned to or used by any other person for any reason.
  3. They feel confident and competent in their physical ability to use the equipment being rented in a safe and prudent manner.
  4. They have carefully inspected the equipment , determined that it works properly, and have accepted the equipment based on their inspection.
  5. They are familiar with and properly trained in the use of each item of equipment being rented.
  6. Venice Boat rentals has no way to determine either the level of ability, or the full extent of equipment knowledge of the renter, and the renter accepts full responsibility for their actions and use of the equipment.
  7. The renter accepts full responsibility for any damage to equipment rented.
  8. They are resposible for any damages.
  9. They are reponsible for any minors participating.
