RENTAL CONTRACT, REPRESENTATION AND RELEASE

  1. Renter agrees to return the equipment listed to Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC or their representatives in the same condition as received (except for normal wear and tear incurred through normal use) or pay for damage, losses, theft or the repair necessary to restore them to the same condition as when rented.
  2. All equipment lost or damaged beyond repair will be paid for by the renter at the regular replacement price and all damaged equipment which may be repaired by Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC, on return thereof and the cost for such repairs shall be paid by the renter. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase price or cost of repairs of such damaged or lost equipment.
  3. All transportation charges must be borne by renter, unless agreed to by Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC.
  4. Renter understands there is NO REFUND after equipment is taken out.
  5. Renter assumes all responsibility for loading and unloading of all equipment they transport.
  6. Renter shall comply with all laws in anyways relating to the use, operation or maintenance of the equipment thereof.
  7. Renter acknowledges that he has inspected and accepted equipment in good condition and repair.
  8. Renter shall pay all fines imposed by the improper use of the equipment thereof.
  9. Renter shall pay Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC all costs and expenses including attorney fees, incurred by Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC in exercising any of it's rights or remedies hereunder or enforcing any of the terms, conditions or provisions hereof.
  10. The equipment is, and shall at all times remain the sole and exclusive property of Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC and the renter shall have no right, title or interest therein or thereto except or expressly set forth in the rental agreement.

REPRESENTATIONS

Renters represent that all persons entering and using canoes/kayaks/paddleboards will wear life jackets at all times and are able to swim and will wear helmets while biking. They further represent that they are familiar with the use and operation of the equipment and agree not to take weight, whether persons or equipment in excess of the carrying capacity of said canoe/kayak/paddleboard.


RELEASE

The undersigned in consideration of and in order to induce Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC to rent the items listed agrees that Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss of property, damage, bodily injury, accident or loss of life, not due to the negligence of Canadice Lake Outfitters LLC, while said equipment is in in the renter's possession.

Canadice and Hemlock Lakes are Carry In-Carry out. Swimming is Priohibited
