Sunless Spray Tanning Waiver:
You have agreed to participate in one or more sunless tanning sessions. Please read and indicate that you understand and agree with the following information.
1. A sunless spray tan will not protect your skin from burning in the natural sun. Please take the proper precautions when exposed to UV light.
2. For best results, wait at least at least 8 hrs after being sprayed before a warm rinse. If using rapid, rinse up to 4hrs. This will allow the tan to fully develop and ensure the best results. You will see the cosmetic bronzer washoff with the warm rinse.
3. Cosmetic bronzers in the solutions will wash out of most fabrics. Silk, lycra, spandex, nylon, woolor leather can stain.
4. Avoid water or strenuous exercise that will result in tremendous amounts of perspiration before your first rinse (8 hrs after spray tan). Be mindful of excessive perspiration and pool/ocean exposure after the spray tan - could result in your tan not lasting the full potential of 5-7 days.
5. The spray technician is trained to provide a natural looking tan. However, due to normal skin variations, and session variables, it is possible you may occasionally find some areas of your tan slightly lighter than others. In most cases, these differences are minor and disappear after the warm rinse. If leftover residue from any product is present, could result in a splotchy tan. **Please read all instructions and be mindful that previous sun burns will result in peeling of a spray tan.
6. Due to the moisturizing agents in the mist, your eyes may feel itchy or scratchy. The ingredients in the solution are harmless. We do recommend you wear protective eye and nose gear (we can provide) on the day of your tan.
7. If you have had adverse effects utilizing self-tanning products or moisturizers in the past, you may experience similar effects with sunless spray tan systems, therefore, we do NOT recommend a spray tan.
8. We recommend that you hold your breath during facial spraying. The solution is not considered harmful in the minimal amounts that may be inhaled.
9. Many customers wear disposable shower caps to prevent the solution from settling into hair. The solution normally won't penetrate the hair and is generally unaffected. Through rare, course, or processed hair types, if uncovered, hair can be affected.
10. If you have any history of asthma or other respiratory or medical conditions that could be aggravated by the use of a spray tan system, please consult a physician before proceeding. Please notify the spray technician of any past allergic reactions to DHA products, or any other medical concerns.
11. Pregnant women - please advise your doctor before getting spray tan. 12. Bronze Bums, LLC will not be held liable for any bronzer that adheres to any clothing. You have 24 hrs after appointment to address the tan. Anything after will be an additional charge. I, the undersigned, understand and agree to comply with all instructions. I am using these services at my own risk. I hereby authorize Bronze Bums, LLC to perform such tanning procedures as may be deemed necessary or advisable, and have provided them with the above information required. I acknowledge that the results of sunless tanning do vary, and that no guarantees of specific results are offered or implied. I hereby relieve this establishment as well as the spray technician, and hold them harmless, from any liability involved in the use of the tanning process.
