Plan to Protect allows for the limited access of their Member Logo (as above) to members. This License Agreement only pertains to the use of the Member Logo and does not impact other benefits available under membership. Use of the Member Logo is available to members: - In good standing with Plan to Protect i.e. paid current memberships;
- Who are striving to meet the criteria of Plan to Protect within their organization; and
- Who have no knowledge of pending or current abuse allegations or suspicions against their organization, staff or volunteers that are being investigated and/or court proceedings that are pending or in process (members that have resolved previous abuse claims, allegations, suspicions, investigations or proceedings are also able to use the Member Logo).
Usage of the Member Logo is a privilege for members. This agreement must be signed and returned indicating that leadership is in full agreement with the terms noted herein. The Member Logo is available to be posted on your website, promotional materials, signage, and invitations for the sole purpose of bringing recognition that you are a Member in good standing with Plan to Protect and that you are striving to achieve the standard of protection that Plan to Protect provides. All members who desire to use the Member Logo must adhere to the following conditions: - The Member Logo must not be altered in any way (including but not limited to, colours or design);
- When being included in print materials, the Member Logo must be in the format of jpeg or PDF and presented in full colour or greyscale as provided by Plan to Protect;
- No other pictures, marks or words (including but not limited to, "Safe Place...", "Approved by...", etc.) can be included as part of the Member Logo without prior written approval of the President of Plan to Protect; and
- The Member Logo is non-transferable, non-assignable and cannot be shared for use with other organizations, denominations, associations or partners;
Samples of all print materials and/or links to the website where the logo is posted should be sent to Plan to Protect, 117 Ringwood Dr. Unit 11, Stouffville, ON L4A 8C1 For the protection of Plan to Protect and all of our members, members agree to immediately remove the Member Logo from the member's website, promotional materials, signage, invitations, and any other place where the member has used the Member Log (excluding volunteer/staff nametags and identification), if or when their organization is in the public spotlight or if they are facing criminal prosecution or a lawsuit due to an allegation of abuse against their organization, their staff, or their volunteers. After six months an application can be submitted to reuse the Logo. Note: If a member faces an allegation of abuse, this does not impact their membership and other benefits. Plan to Protect encourage members to contact Plan to Protect at that time to access Plan to Protect's best practices for reporting and responding to abuse. Plan to Protect reserves the right to withdraw permission to use the Member Logo at any time, if this License Agreement is breached. If a breach occurs, a penalty and/or prosecution may apply to organizations that misuse the Member Logo. It is understood that at no time can organizations, clients, and/or members use the Plan to Protect logo on it's own. The logo available to members is the Plan to Protect Member Logo.
