You may keep any brass that lands on the shooting table or use a brass catcher if you so choose.
  • The Texas Gun Club standard target is provided complimentary for each PAID shooter. Targets are generally not included with discounted range fees.
  • Only authorized targets are permitted at Texas Gun Club. If you bring your own target, notify the check in staff to ensure it is permitted.

Permitted Firearms - All firearms and ammunition are subject to inspections. Management reserves the right to prohibit the use of any firearm or ammunition.

  • Our range is designed to handle all handguns and rifles up to .50 Cal BMG! Yea! Pretty awesome!
  • If you have a really large caliber firearm, just call ahead, we probably want to shoot it too so we'll find a time to make it work!
  • Yes, Shotguns are permitted. We just don't like bird shot. It's messy and leaves lots of unspent powder. So only .00 Buckshot and Slug. (See Ammunition Restrictions)
  • Air Guns/Rifles (Including BB Guns) are permitted on our range, protective equipment required.
  • Automatic firearms (firearms that fire continuously with a single press of the trigger) are available for rent. See a team member for more information.

PROHIBITED AMMUNITION - The following ammunition is NEVER permitted at Texas Gun Club.

  • SERIOUSLY - NO TRACERS, INDENDIARY, GAS, EXPLOSIVES, ROCKET LAUNCHERS, OR OTHER REDICULOUS AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED. WHILE THEY ARE FUN TO SHOOT, THEY BURN REALLY HOT AND THAT'S BAD FOR AN INDOOR RANGE!
  • No armor piercing ammunition or other penetrating ammunition is allowed. (Green Tips for example)
  • No Steel Shot, Steel Core or any other ammunition that contains steel. If it sticks to a magnet, it's not permitted. (Why - Bullets that contain steel are harder than those that are not and can damage equipment - even if it is armor plated.
  • We are a BRASS ONLY RANGE! (Why - help keep our staff safe! It reduces brass sorting which not only takes a lot of time but more importantly, subjects them to harmful lead dust. Being a BRASS ONLY RANGE helps keeps our staff safe.
  • Non-Factory Reloads are not permitted unless authorized by management. Once approved, you may only shoot ammunition that YOU reload using the process and procedures you provided to TGC Management when you sought approval. You may not shoot someone elses reloads.
