BREUIL FUSSION ACADEMY, CORP COMPETITION AGREEMENT Your child has been chosen to dance in our Competition team classes. Listed below you will find the rules and regulations expected from BFA Dance Competition Team parents and students. Please read and sign your initials below next to the numbers before returning to the studio. Company contracts will be strictly enforced. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! BFA CODE OF CONDUCT I Agree ATTENDANCE- Attendance is mandatory. Competing teams only work well together if we ALL attend dance class. Students who have 3 unexcused absences/ month will be removed from company classes, with the exception of illness. Promptness is as important as attendance, 3 LATES is considered 1 absence. We request that a student misses no more than 8 classes per year. We understand that there may be some exception to the rule, but in general, we feel we are being more fair. These absences must be excused. A 9th absence is reason for expulsion.*Students who are absent must make an effort to learn missed choreography from another class member. *Any student with 3 unexcused absences (skipping class) will not be allowed to participate in the next competition, show or festival. I Agree UNIFORMS - All company students are required to wear their warm up suit to all competitions /conventions /shows. Everyone will be required to purchase a company t-shirt by April 1st. A bun is preferred for all classes with hairnet and pins. I Agree ATTITUDE - Zero Tolerance! There is no need for negative attitudes. Students should have nothing but respect for ALL teachers and others students. Please do not take it upon yourself to yell or discipline other students. Let the teachers handle these situations. Everyone makes mistakes - no one is perfect! POSITIVE ATTITUDES MAKE BETTER DANCERS AND GREAT TEAMS. I Agree PARTICIPATION- We expect all dancers accepting a spot on a dance team to participate in all extra activities during the year, such as extra shows and rehearsals. Teachers and/or Directors must be notified if students will be absent from any of these events before deadlines and entries are submitted. After deadlines all entry fees would be forfeited.I Agree COMPETITIONS, RECITALS & FESTIVALS - We’ll be doing 2 to 5 dance competitions / others this school course.
