Membership Terms below (please check all fields before continuing):

I Agree

I authorize to have funds transferred from my bank account or credit card to The Spot’s account on or around the 1st of each month to cover membership fees, house account charges, and any additional charges assigned to my account (late fees, NSF charges, etc.).

I understand that changes to membership status (exits and freezes) must be submitted by the 15th of the previous month by emailing Comp@thespotgym.com.

I understand that any additional charges (trips, lessons, coaching fee's, snacks, etc.) may also be added to my monthly billings.

Billings that are declined are subject to a $5 Service Fee (e.g. NSF, Account Closed, Credit Card on hold, etc.) and will be removed if past due account balances are paid within the first seven days of the month.

The member authorizes The Spot to make debits and credits to the referenced bank account. The member agrees he/she is responsible for providing current and accurate billing information to The Spot for purposes of maintaining his/her membership billing. Members are also responsible for maintaining funds in their account in an amount sufficient to cover charges due to The Spot. Failure to adhere to this agreement or to responsibly use and return The Spot’s equipment may result in additional charges to the member.

Athletes on any Elite team are committed to training with the team through August 7th, 2026. In the event of early withdrawal from an Elite team before the season concludes on August 7th, 2026, a cancellation fee of $300 applies.

Athletes on a Comp team (Youth Comp and Comp teams) are committed to training through May 31st, 2026. Athletes are expected to continue practicing through August 7th, 2026 but their commitment to the team ends on May 31st, 2026. In the event of an early withdrawal from a Comp team before May 31st, 2026, a cancellation fee of $150 applies.

During the summer period, athletes may qualify for prorated tuition adjustments of up to 3 weeks. Any changes to billing details, including cancellation requests, must be communicated to The Spot at least 2 weeks prior to their intended effective date. Since team tuition is billed at the beginning of each month, requests for changes should ideally be submitted by the 15th of the preceding month.

The Spot must be notified of all billing requests, including cancellation requests, at least 2 weeks before they are to take effect. As team tuition is billed on the 1st of each month, any adjustments should be submitted by the 15th of the preceding month.

Athletes experiencing injuries can request a membership freeze for up to 3 months with a doctor's note. Coaches will work with injured athletes to determine appropriate levels of involvement, including practice attendance.

This contract automatically renews for the next season unless explicit notification is provided to The Spot indicating otherwise.

The Spot Scholarship Fund

The Spot Scholarship Program is our own financial assistance fund that helps athletes from all financial backgrounds experience the joy of climbing competitively. In combination with Project Send It, we've helped more than 20 athletes join our team. If you're able, please consider setting up a small, recurring donation to the scholarship fund to support our athletes. Any recurring donation will be charged at the same time as monthly tuition.
