READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. This document affects legal rights. Every adult participant or park user signs individually. A parent or legal guardian must complete the minor signing process for a participant under 18. Minimum shooting age is 10.

1. ACTIVITIES AND RISKS

I understand that Dead Zero Shooting Park is an outdoor shooting facility and that my presence on the property or participation in shooting-related activities may expose me to serious risks. Covered activities include rifle, pistol and carbine range use; sporting clays, skeet, trap and 5-Stand; firearm rentals; golf-cart use; matches and competitions; group/private events; and ordinary use of Dead Zero facilities, equipment and common areas.

I understand that risks include, without limitation:

- Firearm discharge, recoil, malfunction, misfire, squib load, negligent or unintended discharge, ricochet, bullet or target fragments, clay fragments, and projectiles from my firearm or another person's firearm.

- Serious bodily injury, permanent disability, hearing loss, eye injury, burns, cuts, falls, death, and damage to or loss of personal property.

- Loud impulse noise, airborne dust or residue, lead and other substances associated with firearms and ammunition, weather, heat, cold, lightning, uneven or slippery terrain, insects/wildlife, moving vehicles or golf carts, and other outdoor-facility hazards.

- The acts, omissions or mistakes of other customers, spectators, participants, employees, volunteers or third parties, including risks that cannot be completely eliminated even when reasonable safety procedures are followed.

I KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL INHERENT AND ORDINARY RISKS OF MY PRESENCE AND PARTICIPATION, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TENNESSEE LAW.

2. SAFETY AGREEMENT

- I will follow all current Dead Zero posted rules, range commands, staff instructions and DZ-SFT-01 Customer Range Rules & Safety Guide. If rules conflict, I will stop and ask staff before continuing.

- If I am a new shooter at Dead Zero, I will complete the required safety video/orientation before shooting.

- I will keep firearms pointed in a safe/downrange direction, keep my finger off the trigger until ready to fire, and treat every firearm as loaded.

- I will wear required eye and hearing protection at all times while on an active firing line or shooting area and whenever Dead Zero staff or posted rules require it.

- I will not move with a loaded firearm, draw from a holster, engage in rapid fire, exceed one shot per second, or use binary or other multiple-shot modifications prohibited by Dead Zero.

- I will not consume alcohol before or during shooting activities and will not participate while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, fatigue, illness, or any condition that makes safe participation doubtful.

- I will immediately obey a cease-fire or stop command and report unsafe conditions, injuries, firearm malfunctions, or rule violations to Dead Zero staff.

3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY - INCLUDING ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE

In consideration for being permitted to enter, observe, use or participate at Dead Zero Shooting Park, I agree as follows:

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TENNESSEE LAW, I RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS DEAD ZERO SHOOTING, LLC, doing business as DEAD ZERO SHOOTING PARK, together with its owners, officers, managers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, representatives, affiliated entities, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties"), FROM CLAIMS FOR BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM MY PRESENCE OR PARTICIPATION, INCLUDING CLAIMS CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY. THIS RELEASE DOES NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS THAT TENNESSEE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT TO BE RELEASED.

I intend this release to apply to claims arising from the condition of the premises; use or condition of ranges, targets, firearms, rental equipment, carts or facilities; acts or omissions of other participants or third parties; and the ordinary acts or omissions of a Released Party within the scope permitted by law.

4. HOLD HARMLESS / INDEMNITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to hold the Released Parties harmless from, and to indemnify and defend them against, third-party claims, losses or expenses that are caused by my own negligent, reckless, intentional or unlawful conduct, my violation of Dead Zero safety rules or staff instructions, or my misuse of a firearm, vehicle, equipment or facility. This indemnity does not require me to indemnify a Released Party for liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to me.

5. PERSONAL PROPERTY / FIREARMS / EQUIPMENT

I am responsible for the lawful possession, safe condition and safe use of firearms, ammunition and equipment I bring to Dead Zero. I will not use a firearm or ammunition that I know or reasonably suspect is unsafe, damaged, improperly loaded or otherwise unsuitable. Dead Zero may stop an activity or deny use of any firearm, ammunition or equipment when staff identifies a safety concern. Except to the extent required by law, Dead Zero is not responsible for loss of or damage to unattended personal property.

6. EMERGENCY RESPONSE

If I am injured or become unable to give consent, I authorize Dead Zero to call 911 or other emergency services and to provide or arrange reasonable immediate assistance until professional responders take over. I understand Dead Zero is not a medical provider. I am responsible for my own medical and transportation costs except to the extent applicable law or insurance provides otherwise.

7. ELECTRONIC / PAPER EXECUTION AND WAIVER TERM

I agree that an electronic signature, digital acceptance or paper signature may be used to execute this waiver. Dead Zero may retain the signed record electronically. This waiver remains in effect for my future visits unless Dead Zero changes the waiver terms and requires a new version. Each person must have their own current waiver record; one member or group organizer cannot sign in place of another adult participant.

8. PRIVACY / PHOTO-MEDIA

Dead Zero will collect and retain only the information reasonably needed to identify the signer, establish age or guardian authority, create or link the AXIS customer record, and prove execution. This waiver does not authorize Dead Zero to use my image, voice or likeness for marketing. Any photo/video marketing consent is separate and optional.

9. GOVERNING LAW / SEVERABILITY

This agreement is governed by Tennessee law. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent required, and the remaining provisions will continue to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this waiver waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. ADULT CERTIFICATION

For an adult participant, I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER, UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP IMPORTANT LEGAL RIGHTS INCLUDING CERTAIN CLAIMS FOR ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE, AND SIGN IT KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY. I HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE SIGNING.

11. MINOR PARTICIPANT SECTION - AGES 10-17

For a participant age 10-17, I am the minor participant's parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have lawful authority to give this permission. I have read the entire waiver above, understand the nature of shooting and related activities, and give permission for the minor to enter Dead Zero Shooting Park and participate in the activities allowed by Dead Zero for the minor's age, ability and supervision.

I understand and acknowledge the risks described in this waiver on my own behalf and for purposes of deciding whether to permit the minor to participate. I agree that the minor must follow all Dead Zero safety rules and staff commands and must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult while shooting.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TENNESSEE LAW, I RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM MY OWN CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE MINOR'S PRESENCE OR PARTICIPATION, INCLUDING MY OWN CLAIMS BASED ON THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY. I DO NOT INTEND TO WAIVE ANY CLAIM OR RIGHT THAT TENNESSEE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT A PARENT OR GUARDIAN TO WAIVE ON BEHALF OF A MINOR.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I also agree to the Hold Harmless / Indemnity provision above for third-party claims caused by my own conduct or by conduct for which I am legally responsible. I authorize Dead Zero to summon emergency services and provide or arrange reasonable immediate assistance for the minor if necessary.

Minor participant acknowledgment: By signing, I confirm that Dead Zero's safety rules and the risks of shooting have been explained to me in a way I understand. I agree to follow all range rules and staff commands, use required eye and hearing protection, remain with my supervising adult, and stop immediately if I am confused, uncomfortable or told to stop.
