SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please be aware that we are required to enforce all social distancing guidelines on our property. Please be responsible and follow all state and county regulations. You will be asked to leave if you do not comply, and you will not be eligable for a refund.
REGISTRATION: All guests must check in at our Check-In Center before entering our Park.
PAYMENT: We accept American Express, Master Card, and Visa. If paying by check, full payment must be received within 30 days to hold reservation and a valid credit card must be present at check in for incidentals. We accept cash walk-ins and a valid credit card must be present. Guest paying and signing for rentals must be 25 years or older and must be present at check in.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If cancellation is outside of 60 days before time of reservation, a full refund will be issued. Within 60 days but outside of 30 days before time of reservation, a 1/2 refund will be issued. If the cancellation occurs within 30 days of time of reservation, no refund will be given.
CHECK-IN TIME: All Cabins and Yurts will be available for occupancy at 4:00 PM. Camping will be available at 3:00 PM. Early check-ins, if available, will incur a $50 fee.
CHECK-OUT TIME: All Cabins and Yurts must be vacated by 10:00 AM. Camping must be vacated by 11:00 AM. Late check-outs will incur a $50 fee per hour.
VEHICLES: Parking for the cabins will have a designated spot in back of the assigned cabin. Additional parking will be in the main parking lot.
QUIET HOURS: Please be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours will be from: 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: There is a $75 charge per person for each additional person exceeding the maximum number of people for our Cabins (as described on our website). There is a $25 charge per person for each additional person exceeding the maximum number of people for our Yurts (as described on our website).
COOKING: Each cabin is furnished with an assortment of cooking and dining ware for your enjoyment. It is your responsibility to clean these items. If dishes are found dirty on departure an additional $25 will be assessed.
CANDLES: Burning of candles and incense are not allowed in any cabins or yurts. If evidence of burning candles or incense, you will be charged a damages fee.
SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is prohibited in all cabins and yurts including the front decks, except for 8420 yurt. This includes the front deck of the cabins If evidence of smoking is found in your cabin or yurt, you will be charged a $250 fee.
DAMAGES: Any damages incurred beyond normal wear and tear to lodging units or linens will be assessed and a charge will be made to the guest's account.
DOG FRIENDLY:There will be a $50 charge for the first dog and an additional $25 for a second dog. A maximum of 2 dogs per cabin/yurt. All pets must be on a leash while in the park. No pets will be left unattended in the Park and Cabins. Please clean up after the pets. Any violation will result in additional damage fees. We accept dogs only, no exceptions.
CAMPFIRES: Campfires are permitted in designated areas only. The fire must be kept inside it’s containment area. You are responsible for your campfire. Limit the height of the fire. Leaving the campfire unattended is PROHIBITED. You are required to notify the Check-in center when you ignite and extinguish your fire as required by Clear Creek County Burn Permit.
FIRE BAN: From time to time, the state and/or local authorities will issue a fire ban due to dry conditions. When a fire ban is in effect there will be no campfires in the park. Violations of the fire ban will result in tickets and fines up to $1,000.
TRASH: Please remember we are in bear country. Please do not leave food out and put trash in the proper containers. We do not want any reason for an unexpected visit from a bear.
INHERENT RISKS: Please remember that we are in the mountains and to always be aware of your surroundings. There is always wildlife around so please be aware and keep your distance from them. We are in the Rockies, so please watch your step with loose stones and branches when hiking. The park is not liable for injuries of any kind. Please keep a close eye on children and dogs at all times. Park elevation is at 8,200 feet so altitude sickness is a possibility. Weather is constantly changing during all the seasons so dress accordingly.
We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance from your trusted carrier if you are concerned about any unforeseen circumstances.
I have read and understand the lodging, cancellation, and deposit policy for Lawson Adventure Park. I agree to pay any and all deposits as outlined above. I also agree to pay for any additional charges to my credit card as outlined above, as applicable.
