In consideration of Pegasus Airsoft, or any property owner who has allowed Pegasus Airsoft to host events, furnish services and or rent airsoft equipment to me, I agree to the following: - I fully understand and acknowledge that the risk of injury from the activity and replica weaponry involved in the sport of airsoft is significant.
- I fully understand and acknowledge that my participation in such activities and/ or use of such equipment may result in my death or illness including but not limited to bodily injury, disease, strains, fractures, partial and/ or total paralysis, eye injury, blindness, heat stroke, heart attack, death, or other ailments that could cause serious disability; And while protective equipment and personal discipline will minimize this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist.
- I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify the owner of the Pegasus Airsoft business and their employees, with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, or loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my use of airsoft equipment, or my participation in airsoft activities; whether caused by the negligence of the releases or otherwise, except that which is the result of gross negligence and / or wanton misconduct, of which will be punishable by state or federal law. I specifically understand that I am releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for the negligent acts or other conduct by the owners of Pegasus Airsoft.
- I, as a participant, also agree to abide by the following:
- Airsoft replicas are required to chronograph no faster than 400 fps with .20 gram BBs.
- ANSI rated glasses or goggles that make sealable contact to the face is required. Mesh goggles and paintball masks are also allowed. Eye protection will be checked during registration at each event. Players that take their eye protection off during a skirmish will be ejected from the game.
- Face masks or similar face protection are recommended.
- Practice safety at all times. Between games, make sure your safety is on at all times, remove your magazine, put your barrel blocker on and do not point it at other participants.
- Do not brandish your replica in public, including traveling to and from our events. Keep your replicas out of sight in a gun bag, so as to not raise concern from the public and law enforcement.
- Barrel blockers will be required for all players and will be used to cover the muzzle of your replica when asked to by Pegasus Airsoft staff.
- Pegasus Airsoft reserves the right to take disciplinary action against any participant who violates the safety regulations for our events. Multiple infractions may result in you being refused entry to attend all of our events.
