This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing 
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to register for a gymnastics event. 

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Your Access to and Control Over Information 
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

-See what data we have about you, if any.
-Change/correct any data we have about you.

Security 
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE

Every family is required to pay an annual registration fee for classes and practices unless otherwise noted. Registration fees for all preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, tumbling and martial arts classes is $35 per year. This fee covers participation in any class program offered at AGI for one full calendar year. 

Team programs are required to pay a $200 annual registration by June 1st of every calendar year. Annual Registration fees are valid for participation in AGI class and/or team activities for one full calendar year. 

AGI will attempt to notify families of upcoming registration renewals at least 30 days in advance.

MEMBERSHIP & TUITION

AGI offers 3 different tuition tiers:

1) 6-Week Trial Membership: for new members only. Paid upfront. Non-renewable. 

2) Bi-Monthly Membership: Paid upfront. Renewable every two calendar months. Requires Credit Card Authorization Form on File. 

3) Monthly 6 Monthly installments w/ 6 month CommitmentRequires Credit Card Authorization Form on File. A 6-month tuition obligation is paid in six (6) monthly installments ending on the last day of the 6th month. The first payment may be prorated. Renewable every 6 months at 10% discount from bi-montly rates.

4) Seasonal - Team Only. 12 Monthly installments w/ 12-month Commitment— Requires Credit Card Authorization Form on File.

Tuition payments are due on the 26th of every month (or every other month for bi-monthly commitments) prior to the next active month. (For example, a bi-monthly payment for February and March would be due January 26th.)

PAYMENT

   • Autopay Credit or Debit Card – Requires Authorization.

   • Check - Payments may be placed in the blue drop box located on the side of the front desk or given directly to office staff.

   • Cash or One-Time Credit Card – Members may pay using cash credit card on or before the 26th of the month. Payment can be made either online via the Parent Portal or via the front office. When dropping off cash payments, members should seal payment in an envelope and clearly label the account to apply the payment.

DROP POLICY & PROCEDURES

Preschool & Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling and Martial Arts: 

-Members are automatically dropped at the end of their Membership Period (6 week, 8 week, or 6-month.) Members may renew at any time prior to the end of their membership period. 

-Members dropping Students prior to the end of a 6-month membership commitment will be automatically charged 10% of the total installments paid to-date. For example, if a member has paid $224, a $22.40 fee will be added to their account.

Next Gen, Xcel Team, Junior Olympic Teams : 

A 30-Notice of Departure is Required for all families with athletes enrolled in a Team Program. All tuitions and assessment fees due within that 30-day period payable. Your athlete is free to practice with our team until the end of the billing period.

CLASS CANCELLATION / TEAM PRACTICE CANCELLATION / CLOSURE POLICY

-AGI reserves the right to cancel or close classes for any reason including inclement weather, poor staffing or low enrollment. Should AGI cancel a class, we will make every effort to provide a make-up opportunity to students within 30 days. If a makeup is not possible, AGI will issue a class credit for the cost of the cancelled class or classes upon request. 

-AGI reserves the right to alter, cancel or close team practices or programs for any reason including coaches’ travel, coaches’ education, competitions, inclement weather, poor staffing or low enrollment. AGI will make every effort to provide a comparable makeup practice when applicable.

-AGI plans 3-4 weeks of holiday closures per calendar year.

REFUND & GYM CREDIT POLICY 

AGI does not issue refunds for any reason. 

Preschool & Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling and Martial Arts: 

There may be unique cases where a Gym Credit is issued such as in a weather-related closure or documented family emergency. All Gym Credits expire one year after the issue date, unless expressly specified in writing by AGI to the Member at the time of issuance.

Next Gen, Xcel Team, Junior Olympic Teams: 

Team tuitions are not prorated or credited for any reason. Team tuition does not pay for your athletes time in the gym, but rather your spot in the program. Should our team staff need to alter, cancel or close team practices or programs for any reason including coaches’ travel, coaches’ education, competitions, inclement weather, or poor staffing, AGI will make every effort to provide a comparable makeup practice whenever possible. Due to the nature of our sport, makeups during competition season may not always be possible.

LATE FEES

Preschool & Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling and Martial Arts: 

Members with students enrolled in preschool, recreational gymnastics, tumbling or martial arts with a balance due after the last day of the month will incur a $5 late fee per student, per class. Members with an unpaid balance after the 1st of the month will be dropped from class; all enrollments will be dropped, and accounts will be charged any applicable tuitions and fees. 

Next Gen, Xcel Team, Junior Olympic Teams : 

Members with students enrolled in any AGI Team Program with a balance due after the last day of the month will incur a $15 late fee per student. Should the balance remain unpaid past the 1st of the month, the student will not be allowed to attend practice and a 1.5% interest fee per day will be assessed.

A $25 fee is charged on all returned checks. 

*Autopay Members with a declined payment are subject to a late fee and must provide a new Credit Card Authorization form.

ATTENDANCE, PRORATION, & MAKEUP POLICIES

Proration:

-AGI holds an average of 4 lessons per month over a 12 month period. Most months have four lessons. Some months have five lessons, and very few have three lessons. When a month has less than 4 weekly lessons, tuition is automatically prorated. 

-AGI does not prorate for anticipated absences.

Attendance: 

AGI has open enrollment year-round for all classes. Each class is charged at a flat monthly fee based on membership commitments. The fee reserves the gymnast’s place in the class whether attending or not. Therefore, there are no refunds for classes missed.

Makeups:

AGI offers 1 makeup per 30-day period for excused absences. Makeups and extra classes are subject to availability, and you must be currently enrolled to schedule a makeup or an extra class. This policy is subject to further restrictions and changes.

DRESS CODE 

Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that it stays up for the entire workout. No chewing gum or jewelry are allowed (studs in ears ok.) Personal items should be left in cubbies. AGI will not be responsible for any items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your gymnast’s personal items are marked with their name.

Gymnastics: 

-Boys are expected to wear athletic shorts that fit the waist snugly. Gymnastics-specific training shorts are preferred. An athletic tank top or shirt (form fitting) is permitted. 

-Girls are expected to wear leotards. Form-fitting training shorts are allowed. 

-AGI is happy to make accommodations to athletes who require a greater level of clothing coverage for religious reasons by allowing form-fitting leggings or unitards that cover the legs to the ankle and/or arms to the wrist. 

-Loose clothing is not permitted. 

-All gymnastics and martial arts athletes should be barefoot while in class. No socks or stockings. Gymnastics shoes will be permitted on a case-by-case basis. 

Tumbling:

-Tumbling students are expected to wear an athletic shirt or tank and shorts or leggings.

-Indoor-only cheer-tumbling shoes are permitted.

-Athletes should NOT wear tumbling shoes outside.

BIRTHDAY PARTY CANCELLATION POLICY

Families must contact the gym sale representative by phone or in person to cancel or reschedule a party. Parties may be rescheduled up to two weeks prior to the party date. Parties may be canceled up to two weeks prior to the party date and a gym credit will be issued. Gym credits, and/or rescheduled parties are not allowed within 2 weeks of the party date. RSVPs required 1 week in advance. 

Party cancellations via voicemail, text, or email are not allowed. All AGI Birthday Parties are non-refundable.

All party attendees must have a signed waiver upon arrival.

PERMISSION MARKETING

AGI may send transactional and promotional emails and text messages to prospects and members. Transactional emails consist of emails pertaining to your Member account such as monthly statements, credit card receipts, class information, reward programs, Student enrollments, and privacy mailings. Promotional emails consist of emails about upcoming events and services that may be valuable to our Members.

An email address is required for creating an account with AGI. Transactional emails will be sent to any AGI Member when it is necessary to communicate important information to your Family about your Member account.

Any Member may unsubscribe from receiving promotional email from AGI at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button in any promotional email or by contacting the front office - however this is NOT recommended.

MEDIA RELEASE AND CONSENT

As a member of AGI, you authorize AGI to copy, reproduce or publish your child’s photograph and/or recorded audio or video, for the purpose of illustration, advertising, display, audio/visual, public relations and social media purposes. This release may be revoked at anytime in writing.

TOBACCO, DRUG & FIREARM POLICY 

AGI is a tobacco-free, drug-free and firearm free environment. The use of cigarettes, tobacco related products, and/or e-cigs are prohibited on all AGI premises. The possession or use of illegal substances is prohibited on the the AGI premises. Firearms are not permitted on the premesis.

The current version of AGI policies posted online supersedes all previously posted or issued versions of same as of the date specified below. AGI reserves the right to change policies at any time. Members of AGI are required to periodically review revised policies posted online.

WAIVER

INFORMED CONSENT

As the legal parent or guardian, I hereby expressly waive, release, absolve, and agree to indemnify The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, including, but not limited to Preschool Gymnastics, Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheer, Pre-Team, Next Gen, TOPs, HOPEs, Elite, Archway Self Defense, Olympic Weightlifting, and/or any other entities, business divisions that may be later created by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, or utilize the facilities at The Artistic Gymnastics its coaches, staff, subcontractors and the premises owners on which any of its activities may be held, for ANY AND ALL CURRENT, FUTURE OR UNACCRUED CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION, specifically including, but not limited to, bodily injury or death. Moreover, the parties agree to arbitrate any dispute under the laws of the State of Illinois.

I, the parent or legal guardian hereby give my approval for the named minor(s) in this registration to participate in any and all activities provided by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, including, but not limited to,  Preschool Gymnastics, Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheer, Pre-Team, Next Gen, TOPs, HOPEs, Elite, Archway Self Defense, Olympic Weightlifting and/or any other activites offered by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC. I understand that by the very nature of the activity and services offered by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC carry a risk of physical injury which may be severe, debilitating and/or cause death. No matter how careful the coaches and participants are, or how many spotters are provided, or what the surface may be, the risk of injury cannot be eliminated. Injuries may occur, including minor injuries and, although rare, catastrophic injuries or death. I fully understand these risks and agree to not to hold The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, the premises owners or any other business unit/division including its coaches and/or staff responsible for any form of injury that may occur at any time during any activity provided by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, including but not limited to Preschool Gymnastics, Recreational Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheer, Pre-Team, Next Gen, TOPs, HOPEs, Elite, Archway Self Defense, Olympic Weightlifting and/or any other activities offered, provided by or held by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC.

LIABILITY & WAIVER 

As the legal parent or guardian, in consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in any of the athletic/sports programs and related activities offered by The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, the undersigned:

A. Agrees that prior to participating, he/she will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used and if he/she believes anything is unsafe, will immediately advise the coach/supervisor of such condition and refuse to participate.

B. Acknowledges and fully understands that each participant will engage in activities involving risk of serious injury, including permanent disability, death and severe social and economic losses which might result from their own actions, inaction or negligence of others, rules of play, or condition of the premises or any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not reasonably foreseeable or unknown to The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC at this time.

C. Assumes all the foregoing risks and accepts personal responsibility for damages which may hereinafter occur following such injury, permanent disability or death.

D. Releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, affiliated clubs & businesses, their respective owners, administrators, directors, agents, coaches, subcontractors and other employees of the organizations, other participants, and if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct an event, all of which are hereafter referred to as "RELEASEES" from demands, losses or damages on account of injury from future participation, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the "RELEASEES" or otherwise.

E. Agrees to carry personal health insurance in case of a sports injury. Regardless of whether I carry health insurance, I agree not to seek payment of medical bills of any kind from The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC or their owners. If I choose not to carry health insurance in violation of the Affordable Care Act, I understand that I will be solely responsible for any and all medical charges by hospitals or physicians and will not attempt to seek reimbursement of any kind from The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC or their owners.

F. RELEASES THE "RELEASEES" AND EXPRESSLY ASSUMES THE RISK OF INJURY AND DAMAGES; and will indemnify and hold harmless the "RELEASEES" as to any claims for injury and damage.

As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC and its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of The Artistic Gymnastics Institute LLC, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
