VITAL Climbing is your gym. We trust you to take care of it! We are open 24 hours, and want to keep it that way. Please carefully read the following and sign off on each section, indicating that you have read, understand, and agree to it.
Definitions Public Hours: When VITAL Crew is staffed in the gym and we are open to the public. Member Hours: When the gym is open only to members. There may or may not be VITAL Crew present during these hours. Posted hours are available in the gym and online. Home Gym: Your membership will allow you to climb at any VITAL. Your Home Gym is the location where you first purchased your membership and visit most frequently. If you begin using another location more often, your membership and pricing may be automatically adjusted to reflect the gym you utilize most. Paying Guest: A non-member visiting during Member Hours who is accompanied and supervised by a member. Guests must have previously visited during Public Hours and completed an orientation with Crew before attending Member Hours. Members are wholly responsible for their guests during Member Hours and must ensure all VITAL rules are followed. I Agree
The VITAL Crew will now show you around! The duration and billing of my membership have been explained to me. I have been reminded to cancel my membership before the renewal date to avoid being automatically billed for the following month. This can only be done online. If I fail to do so, I am aware this can not be refunded, frozen, or partially refunded. I Agree If I purchased an annual membership, I understand that it cannot be canceled, frozen, or partially refunded. After the completion of an annual membership, you will be automatically converted to a monthly-autopay membership. I Agree have received a demonstration of how to scan in when I arrive. Coming and Going During Member Hours Never share your key fob with anyone. Doing so will result in a suspension or ban. When accessing the door during Member Hours, do not allow anyone else into the building. Other members will have their own key and should scan it separately to access the gym. Scan your key at the member check-in station. If the screen flashesGREEN, you are good to go! If the screen flashesRED, there is a problem with your account. Let us know in person or by email. It is your gym, so please respect it and don't leave a mess! I Agree
All Guests Must Purchase A Day Pass Everyone must pay for their Day Pass, even if they are not climbing. If you bring a Paying Guest during Member Hours, please make sure this is either charged to your member account or on a separate credit card. All Paying Guests must have a completed waiver and have received an orientation by the VITAL Crew before visiting during Member Hours, even if they are not climbing. You must remain at the gym with your Paying Guests at all times during Member Hours. 4 Guests per Member max. You are completely responsible for their behavior. I agree to indemnify VITAL from any claims arising from my Paying Guest's participation in any VITAL activities. I Agree
Injuries There is a telephone available for use in the front entrance area in case of emergency. We strongly recommend not climbing alone, so someone can assist you in case of injury. No smoking, drugs, or outside alcohol are allowed at the gym. You may not be at the gym while intoxicated. If you come to the gym under the influence, we will immediately revoke your membership. Looking Out During Member Hours If you see anyone breaking any of the rules, speak up and let them know. If you see anyone breaking any of the rules, speak up and let them know. Outside Business Operations Members are not permitted to solicit or conduct any business at VITAL. This includes selling goods or services, promoting off-site classes, offering personal training services, conducting classes, or soliciting donations or support for outside organizations or causes that are not sanctioned in writing by the gym's General Manager. I Agree Members may not bring outside professionals into VITAL to assist them, including personal trainers, physical therapists, or photographers conducting commercial shoots. Members are welcome to capture personal moments on camera but should do so respectfully - filming or creating social media content that disrupts others or uses extensive equipment requires prior approval. Other Important Rules Members under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent at all times. VITAL reserves the right to add, delete, amend, or modify this agreement at any time and at its own discretion as it deems appropriate, without obtaining the consent of any Member. From time to time we will close the gym for a few days to make improvements or to set routes for a competition. Any temporary or partial closure of the facility or an amenity for maintenance or events will not result in a refund, membership freeze, or membership extension for the duration closed. Please limit your time at the gym to a maximum of six hours per day. We may revoke your membership at any time if we think you have violated any of our rules. If you sign up for a monthly membership, your card will be automatically charged each month until you cancel. An expired or invalid payment card does not cancel your membership. Our system will continue to attempt billing, and once your payment information is updated, any outstanding charges will be processed. You are responsible for these payments. To stop recurring charges, you must cancel your membership. If you sign up for an annual membership, your membership will be activated on the date of purchase. Annual memberships cannot be cancelled, refunded, or frozen, and they do not lock you into a price when it is up for renewal. You must cancel your membership at least one day before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next month. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the billing date will result in a non-refundable charge for the following month. You can cancel anytime by following the cancellation instructions on the VITAL website. I Agree Building the Community VITAL is a special place. Help keep it that way by welcoming and encouraging new climbers. We don't want anyone to miss out on this amazing sport because they feel intimidated. I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents and implications. If the Member is a minor, at least one parent or legally appointed guardian must sign, as evidence of their agreement to this Member Agreement, for themselves and, to the maximum extent allowed by law, on behalf of the minor Member.
