PARTICIPATION RULES OF CONDUCT, RENTAL TERMS & LIABILITY RELEASE


Introduction

This Agreement is entered into between SUNSET Auto Club ("SUNSET") and the undersigned Participant. By signing, Participant acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

Driver Eligibility

Participant certifies they possess a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle, are legally qualified to drive, are not impaired, and will notify SUNSET of any change affecting eligibility.

Vehicle Use

This Agreement applies to any vehicle provided by SUNSET Auto Club for participation, whether driven by Participant, ridden in as a passenger, or provided for an event or rental. Participant agrees to operate or use any vehicle only as authorized and in compliance with all laws and SUNSET instructions.

Manual mode operation, reckless driving, racing, drifting, burnouts, launch control, track use, off-road use, smoking/vaping, towing, unauthorized drivers, and illegal activity are prohibited.

SUNSET may terminate participation for unsafe conduct. For rentals, Participant agrees to return the vehicle in substantially the same condition received, excluding normal wear, and remains responsible for traffic citations, tolls, parking violations, extraordinary cleaning, and damage resulting from misuse or negligence.

Accidents & Damage

Participant shall immediately notify SUNSET of any accident, damage, theft, mechanical issue, or citation and cooperate with any investigation or insurance claim.

Assumption of Risk

Participant understands that exotic vehicles involve inherent risks including serious injury, death, and property damage and voluntarily accepts those risks.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant releases and holds harmless SUNSET Auto Club, its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, affiliates, and vehicle owners from claims arising from participation, except those resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law.

Indemnification

Participant agrees to indemnify SUNSET for claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising from Participant's negligence, unlawful conduct, breach of this Agreement, or misuse of any vehicle provided by SUNSET.

Media Release

Unless Participant opts out in writing before the event, Participant grants SUNSET permission to use photographs and video for marketing and promotional purposes.

General Terms

This Agreement is governed by Maryland law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Electronic signatures are binding.
