I understand that Rocky Mountain Triathlon Club (RMTC) as an organization and/or coach, officer, or club members shall not be held responsible for any injury, mental or physical, occurring at any club sponsored indoor or outdoor athletic activity. There are inherent dangers in multisport training and events which include without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, sickness and disease, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life; loss of or damage to equipment/property; exposure to extreme conditions and circumstances; accidents, contact or collision with other participants, spectators, vehicles or other natural or manmade objects; dangers arising from adverse weather conditions; imperfect conditions; water, road and surface hazards; equipment failure; inadequate safety measures; participants of varying skill levels; and other undefined risks and dangers which may not be readily foreseeable or are presently unknown. I understand that these risks may be caused in whole or in part by my own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating in events, or the acts, inaction or negligence of RMTC, and I hereby expressly assume all such risks and responsibility for any damages, liabilities, losses or expenses which I incur as a result of my participation.

I acknowledge that RMTC may provide alcoholic beverages for social events and meetings and that I am at least 21 years of age if I choose to consume any alcoholic beverage. I agree to be completely responsible for, and not provide alcohol to any guest whom I may bring to any club function who may be under 21 years of age. 

I hereby authorize RMTC to include my likeness in any marketing materials including newsletters, media kits, advertising, and the website. I also grant RMTC permission to use images of myself in newsletters, websites, social media, promotional materials, and for submissions to newspaper articles and to RMTC sponsors.

RMTC as an organization, its officers, directors, coaches and club members shall not be held responsible for any injury or damage occurring at club trainings, events, or any other activity in which RMTC is involved. I agree that I will be completely responsible for myself and any minor under 18 years of age whom I may bring or allow to participate in any club function. I further agree to indemnify RMTC and its officers, directors, coaches and club members for any damages or injury claimed by a third party due to actions, inactions, negligence or other events caused directly or indirectly by me or any minor under 18 years of age whom I might bring or allow to participate in any club function.

I have read the foregoing information and understand the document. I fully understand that I have given-up substantial rights by acknowledging this waiver, and I hereby acknowledge it voluntarily.
