Testlands Hub Booking Form
Once this form has been completed a member of our team will confirm your booking within 48 hours.
1.1 Testlands Hub will be opened by a member of the staff, unless agreed otherwise.
1.2 Testlands Hub facilities is let on the understanding that any member of staff has the right of entry at any time to the area hired.
1.3 The times booked should be adhered to at all times or further charges will be applied.
1.4 A single sports hall and/or studio bookings is for 55 minutes. This allows Testlands Hub staff to notify the hirer their time has concluded and to adapt the facility for the next hired activity.
1.5 When block booking, if the hirer wishes to cancel a session(s), a minimum of 7 days notice must be given from the booking date they wish to cancel. Anything less than 7 days, the hirer will still be charged.
1.6 Hirers who are 'block booking' must pay monthly in advance. This can be paid by via EZFacilty online.
1.7 Should the member of staff that opens Testlands Hub, before the function or hire commences, be of the opinion that it is likely to prove of an objectionable and undesirable character, they have the full power to cancel the booking, return the hire fees and not to be liable to pay any compensation.
1.8 Food and drink is strictly prohibited inside our sports hall, unless agreed otherwise.
1.9 The hirer is responsible for bringing suitable equipment required for their activity unless arranged otherwise with a member of Testlands Hub leadership team.
1.10 The hirer is solely responsible for their groups own first aid and must supply their own first aid kit/equipment.
1.11 The hirer will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage caused, replacing furniture or fittings lost or damaged, or for deep clean of the building in the event that unnecessary mess is caused.
1.12 The hirer will be responsible for the proper conduct of persons using Testlands Hub.
1.13 Testlands Hub does not accept responsibility or liability for any damage or loss of property of things that are placed and left upon the premises whilst any areas of Testlands Hub is being hired.
1.14 The hirer confirms that they fully understand the fire evacuation procedure and is responsible for evacuating their group safely from the building. They also understand it is mandatory to complete a fire safety (GEEP) form before their booking commences.
1.15 The hired room, foyer and toilets is the only area to be used by the hirer and accepts all other rooms will be either locked or classed as out of bounds unless a request is made.
1.16 Smoking, alcohol consumption and gambling of any kind is strictly prohibited.
1.17 All groups working with young people and vulnerable adults must have their own insurance and staff checks e.g. DBS checks. Testlands Hub takes no responsibility for this and recommends if unsure you seek appropriate advice.
1.18 The hirer confirms that any equipment stored at Testlands Hub must be agreed with the Hub leader and will be done so at their own risk and Testlands Hub takes no responsibility for any damage and/or loss.
1.19 The hirer is expected to leave the room clean and tidy after use. Additional cleaning charges will apply if this is not adhered to.
1.20 All bookings using the sports hall must adhere to the strict rules regarding footwear and use of equipment. Any damage caused to the floor will be liable to the lead of the booking.
1.20 By completing this form, the hirer accepts these terms and conditions on the basis that the 'Contact Name' will be held fully responsible during the hire period.
1.21 Testlands Hub is health and safety monitored regularly, however, all bookings must visually risk assess the area of use prior to using the facility. Any issues must be reported to main reception immediately.
The following terms and conditions are to be adhered to at all times by bookings during the Covid-19 epidemic. If these terms and conditions are not followed, Testlands Hub has the right to cancel the booking.
- The lead of the booking must have contact details for all persons entering the facility under the name of the booking. This will be used for track and trace if needed.
- The lead of the booking must sign in on behalf of the whole booking prior to the start time
- Users will only be allowed access to the building at the time their booking starts. Please DO NOT arrive early or you will be asked to wait outside.
- All customers must wash their hands with the provided washing facilities in reception before entering the facility. Customers are also advised to bring their own hand sanitiser.
- All site users must queue using the designated floor markings. At no time must anyone walk ahead of people in the queue.
- Pre paid bookings or card only.
- All customers must enter through the main entrance doors and exit through the exit door.
