User Terms and Conditions Lighthouse Climbing Pte. Ltd. Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk For the purpose of this document:
“Activities” means any and all activities associated with bouldering, climbing, slacklining and the use of climbing equipment. “Lighthouse” refers to Lighthouse Climbing Pte. Ltd. and any of its employees, directors, shareholders, agents, volunteers, representatives, assigns, participants any other persons acting in any capacity on its behalf. IN SIGNING THIS WAIVER, I AGREE THAT I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED IN THIS WAIVER. I HEREBY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO BRING ANY COURT ACTION OR TO MAKE A CLAIM OF ANY NATURE FOR ANY ALLEGED LOSS OR COMPENSATION AGAINST LIGHTHOUSE. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I acknowledge that climbing, and other similar activities provided by Lighthouse, involves significant amounts of risks. These risks can come in the form of, but not limited to, equipment failure, human error, uncontrolled falling and collision with objects, floors, walls and other people which may cause or contribute to death, physical injuries and psychological injuries; and because of the risks set out above, in participating in the Activities, I will be exposed to the risk of serious personal injury or death. RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, successors, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby release Lighthouse involved in my participation in the Activities at Lighthouse from any suit, demand, action or claim for compensation whether for personal injury, damage to property, death or accident of any kind arising from my participation, whether such participation is supervised or unsupervised. DECLARATION I am physically and mentally capable of participating in Activities at Lighthouse. I declare that all information given in this form is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. I grant Lighthouse the right to take photographs and videos of me and my property in connection with Lighthouse. I authorise Lighthouse to use the photographs/videos in part or in whole, without restriction anywhere, in any medium, for any purpose and altered in any way. I also agree Lighthouse may use photographs/videos of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, but not limited to, publicity, illustration and advertising. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations at the facility. I am aware that this waiver is ongoing and will apply to all future occasions I participate in Activities at Lighthouse Climbing Pte. Ltd. I further acknowledge that this document is a legally binding agreement and may be relied upon in any proceedings by me, my heirs, executors and assigns. I am aged 18 years or over and am legally competent to sign this agreement OR My parent or legal guardian has signed this form to consent to my participation. Lighthouse Climbing Facility Rules - Climbing is inherently dangerous. All participants must sign a liability waiver.
- Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by adults at all times.
- Minimum age of 3 is required to use our facilities.
- Do not walk, sit, stand or climb underneath a climber while they're bouldering.
- Keep chalk bags, water bottles, brushes or any other hard objects away from the padded areas which are the fall zones.
- Keep your belongings in the storage area provided.
- Leave your footwear at the shoe racks provided.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the climbing areas.
- Anyone using the Lighthouse facility is expected to respect other users and conduct themselves properly. Any person deemed unsafe or behaving in a disorderly fashion will be asked to leave.
- Lighthouse reserves the right to revoke climbing privileges at any time.
The terms and conditions herein (as amended from time to time) constitutes the entire agreement between the Participant and Lighthouse regarding the Participant’s use of the Facility and supersedes all previous agreements, understandings and arrangements, written or oral, between the Participant and Lighthouse in relation to such matters.
