Tamarack Covid 19 Rules for Warm Waters Beach/CVAC 

 

All athletes, parents and coaches must sign a commitment to follow these rules before being allowed to participate.

Each parent or guardian of each athlete is required to sign this commitment form and a waiver releasing The State of California- Carlsbad State Beach and its employees and assigns, and Tamarack Beach Volleyball Club from liability due to Covid-19.

Temperature screenings/symptom checks on-site will be required each day. Anyone who is showing symptoms must stay home.

Athletes will not be allowed to participate and will be sent home if their temperature is 100 degrees or higher.

If a child develops symptoms, they will be isolated, and they will have to be picked up. There will be a strict 72-hour sick policy. If your child has a fever, they cannot return until they are 72 hours fever free without the aid of medicine, as recommended by the CDC.

Hand sanitizer will be used by each athlete before and after each daily session.

a. After the masked coach takes their temperature and signs them in, each athlete will use hand sanitizer before going to play.

Social Distancing of 6’ shall be maintained when not actively participating. 

Bathroom visits: 

a. Must wear a mask when in the bathroom:

b. Shall be in groups of 2-3 only

c. They shall social distance. 

Parents should ideally drop off kids and pick them up from camp. If parents choose to stay and observe, they must stay at least 30’ from the courts and socially distance from other households.

a. Parents are allowed to observe training session, but social distancing must be maintained.

 b. Parents shall stay 30’ from the courts.

All participant and staff personal items such as bags, cell phones, personal reusable water flasks/bottles, and backpacks shall be on the sand side of the wall, and proper space shall be maintained between all items.
