Review Rancho Cacachilas y Pico Pala Privacy Policy

This letter of liability release is a requirement according to the Official Mexican Standard of Providers of Tourist Services and Adventure Tourism so we appreciate your understanding.

I the User, manifest under protest of telling the truth that the data provided, on my own name or on behalf of the minor registered as a person to the previously selected activity, and I agree to grant this waiver and liability release in favor of the following:

(I) Las Cieneguitas, S. de R.L. de C.V. hereinafter will be known as the "Organizer"; (II) the establishments in which the activities can be carried out; (III) any other company involved with the organization of the event, or service that may be provided within the city of La Paz or within the state of Baja California Sur, hereinafter the "Organizers"; (IV) as well as any administrator or operator of the aforementioned companies, corporations and establishments, their shareholders, partners, managers, directors, officers, guides, entertainers, employees, agents and representatives.

I, the User, understand and accept that I received an informative talk by some means, prior to the activity, I understand and know the rules of the places and sites that have been designed to carry out the tours and activities of the contracted services, which can be: mountain bike tours, hiking in desert and mountains, and/or rappelling in mines, and/or visits to orchards, camps, museum visits, cheese tasting, tasting and consumption of food and beverages, motor vehicle transportation, towing tour, snorkeling at sea, boat tour, water activities at sea, waterfalls and lagoons.

The Organizer or Organizers are responsible for providing the adventure equipment (mountain bike, harnesses, ropes, carabiners, etc.), equipment that is in optimal conditions to offer the activities safely and these must be returned at the end of the activity. The User will be charged for any damage made to infrastructure, furniture, equipment and roads. The contracted services may be carried out in the establishments Rancho Cacachilas, Toto Frito, Pico Pala, Bar El Minero de El Triunfo, Margery ́s Tea Room, Las Alforjas, Museo del Vaquero de las Californias, Museo Ruta de Plata, and in the towns of San Juan de Los Planes, El Sargento and its Annex La Ventana,  El Rosario, El Triunfo, San Antonio, the city of La Paz and other establishments and locations located within the municipality of La Paz and in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico

I the User understand and acknowledge the risks involved in my participation in these types of activities, as well as the possibility of serious injury, dehydration, heat stroke, poisoning from tasting and consuming food and beverages, falls, insect bites, reptile bites, bites by poisonous and toxic plants, health problems from strenuous exercise,  disability, death, damage or loss of my property, I also understand and recognize that the Organizer and Organizers are not responsible for the damages caused, theft, loss of your vehicle, or the theft of valuables from it, in the same way they are not responsible for the objects lost during the tour.

The Organizer and Organizers have all the necessary economic, technological, material and human resources, as well as sufficient and necessary knowledge and technical skills to provide the services, they also have trained personnel in accordance with the Official Mexican Standards and other Mexican regulations, they also have insurance for medical expenses, civil liability and transportation,  that as Organizer and responsible Organizers we take care of carrying out the activities without leaving a trace, trying to impact the natural space as little as possible.

Having understood prior to the presentation of the proposal the scope and objective of the services that are contracted, I, the User, declare: a) to be healthy and not suffer from any disease or condition that prevents me from practicing the activity with or without devices, such as: heart problems, lung problems, recent surgeries, epilepsy, diabetes, including pregnancy, not being tired, awake or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, during the activities to be carried out, that I go freely and voluntarily to perform adventure and nature activities; b) that I do not have any serious condition that prevents me or may complicate my health by performing these activities; c) to be aware of and accept the risks and possible consequences such as injury, organ loss, trauma or death involved in my participation in the practice of adventure/nature tourism activities; d) to know that the activities can be carried out by sidewalks, neighborhood roads, ejido lands, rancherias, local transit roads, for which I will respect the rules of the road, as well as the preservation and care of the flora and fauna since it is not allowed to extract any natural element from the environment and from any type of establishment or premises where the activity is carried out; and e) that I understand and accept that I will abide by the instructions made by the specialized guide, in the same way I will respect the internal rules and regulations, as well as the security measures for my benefit.

Likewise, based on articles 86, 87 and 88 of the Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor (Federal Copyright Law), I the User express my voluntary and totally free authorization so that, derived from my participation in these activities, the Organizer and Organizers are free to use, reproduce, transmit, retransmit, publicly display and create other works with my image in the promotional campaigns carried out by any means,  as well as the fixation of the aforementioned image in projection, video, graphics, texts, slides and all the supplementary material of the projections and campaigns, establishing that it will be used solely and exclusively for the purposes indicated.

I, the User, herein manifest that I have read the document and understand in its entirety the content of this letter of liability release, the Organizer and Organizers have pointed out and warned me about these scenarios, I accept these risks regardless of the cause that originates them derived from my participation in the activity.
