Release & Waiver of Liability 
for
Goat Yoga at Moser Manor Farms, LLC

I. Health of Participant: I represent and warrant that I am in good physical health and do not suffer from any medical condition which would limit my participation in the classes offered at Moser Manor Farms, LLC. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in any of the yoga classes, programs, or workshops. I understand the risks associated with yoga in general and goat yoga in particular and I agree to follow all instructions so that I may safely participate. It is my responsibility to inform the instructor of my limitations before class begins.

a. Pregnant women- I agree that I have consulted with my healthcare provider before participating in goat yoga and that my healthcare provider has agreed to my participation. Should any modifications be required, I will notify the instructor before class begins.

II. Liability: I hereby waive and release Moser Manor Farms, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, and any other related parties operating on behalf of Moser Manor Farms, LLC from any claim, demand, cause of action of any kind resulting from or related to my participation. In taking part in the goat yoga classes, workshops, or other activities at Moser Manor Farms property, I understand and acknowledge that I am fully responsible for any and all risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of my participation to me, my clothing, or my property. I will not do anything I do not feel physically comfortable with. I am aware that goats are animals that can weigh up to 80 lbs, that defecate and urinate, with hooves, horns, and teeth that can scratch, buck, bruise, rip, cut, nibble, etc. I aware that there is no retirement age for goats involved in the goat yoga program, therefore I may get any sized goat jumping on me at any given moment and assume that risk.

III. Covenants of Participant: As a participant in goat yoga, I make the following covenants:

  • I will follow all instructions given to me both written and oral
  • I will not hold my breath or strain to attain any positions. I will breathe smoothly and continuously stretch.
  • I will respect my body’s abilities and limits.
  • I will not perform postures or movements that are painful.
  • I will ask the instructor if I’m unsure how to perform a certain movement.

IV. Inherent Risk of Farms: I also understand and agree that there is an inherent risk that comes with being on a working farm and around animals that includes but is not limited to illness, physical injury (both temporary and permanent), death, and loss or destruction of property. I hereby assume all such inherent risks.

V. Photo Release: I hereby grant Moser Manor Farms, LLC a revocable release to use any photos, images, or other media of me for advertising purposes without notification, inspection or approval and at no cost to them and with no compensation to me. I grant and irrevocable right to the ownership of any all rights, including copyrights to the media, to Moser Manor Farms, LLC.

VI. Acknowledgement of Release Review: I agree that I have had sufficient time to review this Waiver and to ask any questions associated with it. I further agree that I have carefully read the Waiver, know its contents, and have signed it as my own free act.

VII. Disputes: Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with this Release, including without limitation, any dispute regarding the enforceability of any provision, that cannot be resolved though good faith negotiations within thirty (30) days or such longer period of time as may be mutually agreed between the parties, shall be submitted to mediation in Hamilton County, TN.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned hereby executes this Release and Waiver of Liability.
