NEUTRAL GROUND GUN COMPANY RANGE WAIVER AND RULES
All information supplied by you in completing this form will be kept strictly confidential, not
distributed or made available to others for any purpose, and is for the sole use of Neutral Ground
Gun Company (“Neutral Ground”). If you initial/sign this agreement, it is presumed that you
have read and understood this agreement. If you have any questions about the contents of this
agreement, please ask Neutral Ground staff before signing.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK:
I (“CLIENT”) UNDERSTAND THAT THE USE OF FIREARMS OR PRESENCE ON A
SHOOTING RANGE CAN BE A HAZARDOUS OR DANGEROUS ACTIVITY THAT
CAN CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY INJURY AND/OR DEATH. BY SIGNING BELOW, I
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I ACCEPT THE ASSOCIATED RISKS AND THAT I
AM RESPONSIBLE AND LIABLE FOR MY ACTIONS WHILE USING THE
NEUTRAL GROUND RANGE AND AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE NEUTRAL
GROUND RANGE PROPERTY, WHETHER THOSE ACTIONS CAUSE INJURY TO
MYSELF OR OTHERS.
I UNDERSTAND THAT THESE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. The risk of handling firearms and being near others that have firearms in their possession
who may not be familiar with firearms or who may handle them carelessly.
2. The risk of personal injury and / or damage to personal property from the discharge of a
firearm, whether intentional or accidental.
3. The risk of personal injury from the physical demands, and dangerous nature of using a
firearm.
4. The risk of possible hearing damage.
5. The risk of possible eye injury.
6. Exposure to lead dust, particles, and other potentially hazardous materials released by
discharging a firearm, including exposure to the fetus.
7. The possibility that pieces or fragments of projectiles or other objects downrange may
bounce back or ricochet and strike my body, causing injury.
8. The risk of injury associated with the configuration of a shooting range, including
features that could constitute a patent or latent defect, tripping or slipping hazard.
I understand the risks, hazards, and dangers associated with operation of a firearm and have had
the opportunity to discuss any questions with a NEUTRAL GROUND employee.
RELEASE, DEFENSE, INDEMNITY, AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:
Client, for himself/herself and on behalf of his/her executors and assigns, releases the
NEUTRAL GROUND GUN COMPANY, JJS Operations LLC, and its Agents, Employees,
Partners, Members, Volunteers, and Instructors from any and all liability for personal injury or
property damage arising out of the use of the equipment or facilities of the NEUTRAL
GROUND.
Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NEUTRAL GROUND and its Agents,
Employees, Partners, Volunteers, and Instructors from any responsibility for any and all claims
and demands for personal injury or property damage arising out of use of the facilities or
equipment whether those injuries occur as a result of Client’s conduct or as a result of another
customer’s conduct.
Client understands that this means that Client will not file suit against NEUTRAL GROUND for
any injury sustained by Client relating to, arising out of, or in any way connected with Client’s
presence on the NEUTRAL GROUND property, including but not limited to the negligence of
any other patron, customer, or employee on the property, or the existence of any alleged defect in
the premises.
Client also understands that, should Client file suit against NEUTRAL GROUND for any cause
of action, act, omission, injury, or damage within the scope of this agreement, Client will be
responsible for reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs incurred by NEUTRAL GROUND.
Client also understands that if any alleged act or omission of Client on the property causes injury
to any other person, Client will provide a legal defense (attorney’s fees and court costs) to
NEUTRAL GROUND if NEUTRAL GROUND is sued for those allegations, and to indemnify
(pay any judgment against) NEUTRAL GROUND for any damage caused by Client, whether
such damage was caused in whole or in part by Client or involved acts of alleged negligence on
behalf of NEUTRAL GROUND.
Client further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NEUTRAL GROUND and
its Agents, Employees, Partners, Volunteers, and Instructors from any allegations of
negligence against NEUTRAL GROUND arising from my use of the shooting range or
presence on the property.
I have read and understood this RELEASE, DEFENSE, INDEMNITY, AND HOLD
HARMLESS AGREEMENT and I understand that this Waiver and Release Agreement applies
equally to any minor children accompanying me.
RANGE RULES: SAFETY
EYE AND EAR PROTECTION IS REQUIRED AT ALL EVENTS AND AT ALL TIMES
WHILE IN THE FIRING AREA AND MAY NOT COME OFF IN THE FIRING AREA.

ALL FIREARMS MUST BE POINTED DOWN RANGE AT ALL TIMES, even if not being
fired.

FIREARMS MAY ONLY BE HANDLED IN SHOOTING STALLS. Do not load, unload,
repair, or in any way handle a firearm outside of the shooting stalls.

NEVER cross the firing line or proceed in front of the shooting benches under any
circumstances. Contact range employees if you need to retrieve an object downrange.

Only one person may fire from a shooting booth at a time.

Do not exchange firearms with another booth. Please switch shooters between booths, never firearms between booths.

Anytime a cease fire is called by any person, stop shooting immediately, place firearm on safe,
place your firearm on the bench and back away from the firing line immediately. Any shooter is
allowed to call a cease fire and alert staff for any perceived safety issue at any time.

DO NOT BRING A LOADED OR MALFUNCTIONING FIREARM OFF THE RANGE. If
there is a problem, lay the firearm on your lane bench/table, with the muzzle pointed down
range, and notify staff.

Drug and alcohol use is strictly prohibited. If Client is even suspected of being under the
influence of drugs or alcohol, whether such suspicion is correct, incorrect, reasonable, or
unreasonable, Client understands that Client will be asked to leave the premises without refund
and will release and hold harmless NEUTRAL GROUND for such ejection.

Shooters under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Minimum shooting age
is 12 years old without prior authorization from staff.

No food or beverages are allowed in the range area.

Outside of the shooting range itself, personal firearms must be unloaded and secured, or properly
holstered and concealed with valid legal permission to do so.

DO NOT EXPOSE ANY FIREARM ON THE PROPERTY OTHER THAN ON THE RANGE
OR WITH THE PERMISSION OF NEUTRAL GROUND EMPLOYEES.

Abide by any rules, commands, or requirements of NEUTRAL GROUND and/or its employees,
volunteers, and instructors, whether such instructions are verbal or written. ANY UNSAFE
ACT, however defined by range staff, will result in immediate removal.

NEUTRAL GROUND employees have complete authority regarding the operations of the range.
ANY UNSAFE ACT, however defined by range staff, will result in immediate removal and
possible revocation of membership until further training is received.
RANGE RULES: AMMO
Only NEUTRAL GROUND purchased ammunition is to be used in rental firearms.
NO STEEL, STEEL CORE, TRACER, OR ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS ALLOWED.
Clients shooting steel ammunition will be asked to leave permanently (without refund). If you
are not sure if your ammunition is prohibited, please ask range staff.
DO NOT throw brass in garbage cans. Please push brass forward when finished shooting.
RANGE RULES: PROPERTY DAMAGE
I understand and agree that accidentally shooting range property or equipment will subject me to
a fine of the greater of fifty dollars ($50.00) or the reasonable cost to repair or replace the
damage, including any damage done to security cameras, tabletops, ceilings, walls, lane carriers,
and lane equipment.
I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF I SHOOT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE
TARGET OR BACKSTOP, I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST AS DETERMINED
BY NEUTRAL GROUND STAFF.
VIOLATION OF ANY RULES OR POLICIES MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF
RANGE PRIVILEGES AND REMOVAL FROM THE PREMISES WITHOUT REFUND.
I HAVE COMPLETELY READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND I AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE NEUTRAL GROUND GUN COMPANY RANGE WAIVER AND RULES.
