  • Wear your life jacket at all times.
  • Wear appropriate footwear: preferably closed-in toes and an ankle strap.
  • Don’t forget to use sunscreen. Remember the tops of your legs, ears and nose!
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Take only plastic containers on the river. Broken glass is a hazard.
  • Refrain from consuming alcohol. The river is potentially dangerous. Consuming alcohol can increase the risk of injury.
  • Respect the rights of the people who live along the river.
  • Last, but not least.... Sign the waiver form and have a great trip!

ACCIDENT WAIVER FOR TRIPS AND ACTIVITIES

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By signing below, (1) I acknowledge that the outdoor recreational activities & transportation associated with the above described trip/outdoor activity to be conducted by RiverGirl Fishing Co are outdoor sport activities which may involve the risk of personal injuries or death; (2) I hereby agree for myself, all my family members, heirs and any one accompanying me, to be effective to the greatest extent permitted by law, to release RiverGirl Fishing Co or any of its officers, directors, governors, members, trip leaders, instructors, guides, drivers or agents from any and all liability claims, losses and/or damages for personal injuries or death which may occur during participation in the above named trip, any outdoor activity and transportation associated with said trip; (3) ) I hereby agree for myself, all my family members, heirs and any one accompanying me, , to be effective to the greatest extent permitted by law, not to sue or make any negligence claims against RiverGirl Fishing Co or any of its officers, directors, governors, members, trip leaders, instructors, guides, drivers or agents for personal injuries or wrongful death suffered as a result of participation in the above named trip, related outdoor activities and transportation; (4) I intend this release and agreement not to sue to be effective whether or not the injury or death results, in whole or in part, from the negligence of RiverGirl Fishing Co or any of its officers, directors, governors, members, trip leaders, instructors, guides, drivers or agents; (5) I understand that negligence means failure to do an act which a reasonably careful person would do, or the doing of an act which a reasonably careful person would not do, under the same circumstances, to protect another from injury or death; (6) I agree to be solely responsible for my own safety and well-being while participating in the outdoor activities and transportation of RiverGirl Fishing Co; (7) I agree that my vehicle is parked at my own risk and will not hold RiverGirl Fishing Co or any of its officers, directors, governors, members, trip leaders, instructors, guides, drivers or agents responsible for any damage or theft of or to said vehicle;  (8) I agree for RiverGirl to use any images or video taken of me to be used for marketing and advertising purposes only; (9) I acknowledge that I may receive notifications  via text, email, phone call or social media from RiverGirl Fishing Co that may be related to the above activity or future planned activities; (10) I agree not to hold RiverGirl Fishing Co responsible for any decisions on my part in case of an alien invasion (11) I knowingly assume all risks associated with the outdoor activity and transportation, which include but are not limited to, the risk of personal injuries or death, which may occur during participation in the above named trip, transportation and the outdoor recreational activity associated with said trip.
