Marina Boat Ramp Membership Agreement


Membership Validity

  • Duration: Your Ramp Pass is valid from March 2024 to December 2024.
  • Fees: The 2024 Ramp Pass fee is $221.25 plus HST, totaling $250.00. Full payment is required to reserve your pass.

Usage Terms and Conditions

  • Parking Availability: While unlikely, there may be instances when the trailer parking lot is unavailable or full. Should this occur, please contact the front desk or call 519-790-8017 for alternative options.
  • Trailer Parking: Park your truck and trailer exclusively in the designated area north of the ramp (closest to the lake), marked by wooden posts and signage. This area is reserved for trucks and trailers only.
  • Security Measures: After using the ramp, ensure it is re-locked. Members following you should use their own access code, maintaining security and courtesy.
  • Membership Tag Display: Your membership tag must be visible at all times. Vehicles without a tag will be towed at the owner's expense.
  • Guest Parking: One guest vehicle is allowed in the designated car parking area. Guest vehicles are not permitted in the trailer parking lot and will be towed if parked there.
  • Pass Exclusivity: Ramp Passes are individual and not transferable or for resale.
  • Surveillance: The boat ramp area is under video surveillance for your security.

Compliance and Enforcement

  • Non-Compliance: Failure to adhere to these terms above may result in membership cancellation without refund by Urban Surf Co.

Liability and Responsibilities

  • Waiver of Liability: Members use the ramp at their own risk. Urban Surf Co. (AXFIT Inc.) is not liable for any loss or damage. Members must have appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Conduct: Members, their invitees, and guests must comply with all marina rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in immediate termination of this agreement.
  • Damage Responsibility: Members are liable for any damages to marina property caused by their negligence or that of their guests.

General Provisions

  • Assignment: This membership and its benefits are non-transferable without Marina's written consent.
  • Insurance: Members must not engage in activities that void insurance policies on the marina premises and must maintain a minimum of $1,000,000 in third-party liability coverage.
  • Termination: The marina reserves the right to terminate memberships under specific conditions, including non-compliance and natural disasters.

Acceptance

  • Acknowledgment: By signing, members acknowledge understanding and agreement to adhere to these terms, including the Boat Ramp Member Waiver of Liability.

Jurisdiction

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. All fees are payable in advance, and the marina reserves the right to adjust terms and rates with notice.
