Liability Waiver

Warm greetings to you, guest and participant of Utah Yoga & Wellness Hygge or Adventure Wellness Retreats & Events (+ Wandering Yogi for Mexico Retreats). By signing this waiver, you agree to participate willingly, of your own choice, releasing Elise Jones (Utah Yoga & Wellness) and D'ana Baptiste (Wandering Yogi) and venue/venue owners from any responsibility for personal injury or mishap that could possibly occur during the retreat or event, as well as the following:

1. WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I am participating in yoga and other healing modalities and activities at the retreat/event, during which I will receive instruction about yoga and health. I recognize that yoga and other activities require physical exertion which may be strenuous. I am fully aware of the risks involved in participating in such a retreat. I represent and warrant that I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in the retreat. I will assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the retreat. Activities include, but not limited to, yoga (including aerial & SUP) yoga therapy, fitness classes, water activities, cold and hot water immersion therapies in river/lake/crater, meditations, breath work, outdoor recreational activities (snow activities, snowmobiling, snorkeling, boating, hiking, horses, etc) and included foods/meals prepared & served during the retreat.

I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against any member of the staff for injury or damages I may sustain as a result of participating in the retreat. 

2. SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted inside our venues.

3. PETS

 We do not permit pets or other animal companions of any description. Pets or animal companions found in the rooms or on the grounds is grounds for eviction and forfeiture of any money paid.

4. ENTIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN ANY GUEST AND US. NO ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS ARE EXPRESSED NOR IMPLIED. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUPERSEDE ANY AND ALL PREVIOUS AGREEMENTS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, BETWEEN US. UPON SIGNING, EACH GUEST HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND AGREES TO ACCEPT ALL OF THEIR TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND RESTRICTIONS, WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

Utah Yoga & Wellness Liability Waiver

2. SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside our venues. Smoking is permitted outside the grounds, so long as it is at least 20 feet away from the entrance. All cigar/cigarette butts, wrappers, and/or other material must be properly discarded and, if found around the grounds, will necessitate additional cleaning costs.
