I certify that I am a legal resident of the United States of America. I certify that I have never been convicted of a felony crime or a misdemeanor domestic violence conviction. I certify that I am not under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs. I will faithfully endeavor to fulfill the obligations of safety and good sportsmanship. I certify that I have read all of the range safety rules, and I will comply with them and the directions given me by Range Personnel, and I certify that all persons affiliated with me (including spouse, family members, and associate members) will comply with such rules and directions. If, at any time, I see any actions by other customers that are unsafe, or if I perceive anything in this range to be unsafe, I will bring it to the attention of the Range Personnel. In consideration of the undersigned being allowed to use the range at the Norcross Gun Club and Range, the undersigned does hereby release, discharge, waive, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue the Norcross Gun Club and Range, its officers, directors, affiliates, and employees from any and all liability to the undersigned, for any loss or damages or injury, including death, to the undersigned's person or property, or for any other consequences to the undersigned arising from, out of, or as a result of use of the range of Norcross Gun Club and Range by the undersigned. The undersigned does hereby agree to protect, indemnify, and defend Norcross Gun Club and Range, its officers, directors, affiliates, and employees, from and against all liabilities, claims, suits, actions, and costs arising from or connected to loss, damage or injury to person or property which loss, damage or injury is caused by, related to, or arises out of the use of the gun range or any facilities associated thereto by the undersigned or any persons affiliated with the undersigned. The undersigned further consents to and authorizes all emergency medical treatment to the undersigned as may be deemed appropriate under the circumstances. the undersigned further consents to the taking, making, or recording of pictures, movies, videotapes, or other images of the undersigned's likeness or voice in any manner incidental to the use of the range, and to the publishing, broadcasting, or display of such likeness or voice without any compensation therefore. This waiver is considered valid for one year from the date signed. After that period, it must be reread and signed. If this waiver changes at any time during that period, the undersigned acknowledges that the undersigned will be required to read and sign the updated waiver. Damage to the range or the facility owned by the Norcross Gun Club and Range will be charged to the customer. Range Safety Rules Please think Safety First 1) Valid picture identification is required to enter the range.
2) All Federal, State and Local firearm laws must be obeyed.
3) No convicted felons or persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are allowed.
4) Persons under 21 must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
5) Commands issued by the Range Master or Range Personnel must be obeyed immediately and without question.
6) When the command "Cease Fire" is given, stop shooting IMMEDIATELY, remove your finger from the trigger, keep the gun pointed in a safe direction, place the firearm down, and wait for further instructions from the Range Master or Range Personnel.
7) Cross firing of targets is prohibited.
8) No one other then Range Personnel may go forward of the firing line unless authorized or instructed to do so by the Range Master.
9) All firearms not on the firing line must be both holstered and unloaded or with the actions open and the magazine removed.
10) Never pass your firearms to another person until the cylinder or action is open and you have visually checked that it is unloaded.
11) Load and unload weapons and magazines inside of the booth only.
12) Never bring a loaded weapon out of the range. If your gun malfunctions, lay it in the booth facing down range and notify the Range Master or Range Personnel.
13) No holster or quick draw shooting allowed on the range unless approved by the Range Master.
14) Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
15) Never point a firearm at anyone, always have your firearms pointed in a safe direction. Treat every firearm as if it were loaded, check and recheck.
16) Shotgun slugs or 00 buckshot may be fired in 12 gauge. All other gauges are slug only. No birdshot may be fired on the range.
17) Tracer, armor piercing, and ammunition with any steel in the bullet are prohibited.
18) Everyone must wear eye and hearing protection at all times while in the range.
19) Food, beverages, and smoking are prohibited in the range. Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.
20) The Range Master or Range Personnel reserve the right to inspect any firearms or ammunition for safety considerations.
21) Only one person may be shooting in a booth at a time unless accompanied by an instructor.
22) Expecting mothers are not permitted on the range at any time.
23) Always wash your hands and face after shooting.
FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF SHOOTING PRIVILAGES AND/OR YOUR REMOVAL FROM THE RANGE.
