This waiver is to register and be completed prior to participating in any event or training course offered at Talon Range, by Talon Training Group or by any vendor or entity hosting an event at Talon Range.

 

RELEASE, WAIVER, INDEMNIFICATION, HOLD HARMLESS, AND

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AGREEMENT

 

By signing this registration document, I understand and agree to the following:

I understand I should use my complete legal name on this registration form to ensure my class certificate is valid.

Class fees, registration and waiver are due prior to the start of class.

If my class is cancelled, any fees are refundable or can be applied to another class.

Talon Training Group, LLC depends on the careful control of firearms by each participant/student: therefore I understand my instruction/participation may be terminated at any time during an event if the staff, instructors or directors of an event deem my cooperation or behavior unstatisfactory or unsafe. There will be no refund.

Instruction given by Talon Training Group staff/instructors is for the sole purpose of educating students attending training for personal use. Talon Training Group, LLC will not be held liable for any information obtained and used by students/participants to teach others.

Talon Training Group, LLC will not be held liable, per Appendix A below, for the acts of outside instructors while on Talon Range, LLC property.

I will abide meticulously by any and all safety procedures of Talon Training Group, LLC or Talon Range, LLC.

The Undersigned hereby agrees to all terms and conditions set forth in Appendix A, below, which is hereto and incorporated herein.

I certify that I am not a convicted felon, nor subject to a court order restraining me from harassing, stalking or threatening an intimate partner, or child of such partner. I also certify that i have never been convicted in any court of law of a misdeameanor crime of domestic violence. This includes an misdemeanor conviction involving the use of physical force committed by a currrent or former spouse, parent/guardian of the victim, or by a person with a similar relationship to the victim.

APPENDIX A

WHEREAS, in return for instruction in firearms, use of premises and for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Undersigned agrees to the following:

 

The undersigned agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Talon Training Group LLC., Talon Range, LLC., any of the property owners and their lessees, assignees, or heirs: and the assigned firearms instructors, staff, directors, officers. employees or agents (hereinafter "TTG") from any and all fault, liabilities, cost, fees, expenses, claims, causes of action, demands or lawsuits, of any kind whatsoever arising out of, related to or connected with the discharge of firearms, the course of instruction or the training, Undersignee's participation in the course of instruction, any firearms or ammunition, the range, buildings, machinery, equipment, land and premises used for claim, demand or lawsuit arise or be asserted in any way whatsoever related thereto, whether arising under the laws of the United States or of any State. or under any theory of law or equity, the Undersigned will indemnify, hold harmless and defend TTG from any and all costs, attorney fees, expenses, or liability including, but not limited to, the cost of any settlement or judgment made or rendered against TTG whether individually or jointly with the course of instruction (hereinafter "the Premises"): the Undersigned's presence on or the use of said Premises and any and all acts of omissions of TTG or the Undersigned. And should any such Undersigned, together with all costs of court and other costs or expenses incurred in connection with any such claim, demand, lawsuit, including attorney’s fees.

The Undersigned furthermore waives for himself/herself and his/her executors, administrators, assignees or heirs, any and all rights and claims for damages, losses, demands, and any other causes of action whatsoever, which he/she may have or which may arise against TTG (including, but not limited to any and all injuries, damages or illnesses suffered by the Undersigned or the Undersigned's property). which may in any way whatsoever, arise out of, be related to, or be connected with TTG, the course of instruction, the Premises, including any latent defect in the Premises; the Undersigned's presence on or the use of said Premises; the Undersigned's property (whether or not entrusted to TTG); and the use or discharge of firearms. TTG shall not be liable for, and the Undersigned agrees, on behalf of himself/herself and his/her executors, administrators, assignees, or heirs, hereby expressly releases TTG from any and all such claims. The Undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees that participation in firearms instruction: the discharge of firearms and the firing of live ammunition are inherently dangerous activities that pose the danger of injury or possibly death; and the Undersigned expressly assumes the risk of entering

the Premises and of taking part in activities on the Premises which include, but are not limited to, instruction in the use of firearms, the discharge of firearms, and the firing of live ammunition.

 

The Undersigned furthermore hereby acknowledges and agree that he/she has read, understands and will at all times abide by all TTG range rules and procedures and those of the Premises.

 

This instrument binds the Undersigned and his/her executors, administrators, assignees, or heirs.
