First, some Definitions: Public Hours: VITAL Crew are staffing the gym and we are open to the public. Member Hours: The gym is only open to members. There may or may not be VITAL Crew present during Member Hours. These hours are posted in the Gym and online. Home Gym: Your Membership will allow you to climb at any VITAL Climbing Gym, however, your Membership must be purchased at your 'Home Gym.' Your Home Gym is defined as the location you visit most frequently. Guest: A non-member at the gym during Member Hours who is accompanied and supervised by a member. Members are wholly responsible for their Guests and must ensure that their Guests follow all of our rules. I Agree Coming & Going during Member Hours: The door code is secret. Do not share it with anyone, ever. First, scan your ID at the Computer. If the screen flashes red, there is a problem with your account. Let us know in person or by sending us an email. Second, put your card up on the chalkboard. Remember to take your card with you when you leave. You dont need to scan out. Be sure to turn off all the lights and music if you are the last one in the gym. It is your gym, so please respect it and don't leave a mess. Don't leave the door open or allow non-members in during Member Hours. You may open the roller door, however, be sure that you close it when you leave. I Agree Bringing Guests During Member Hours: Have all your Guests sign a waiver and safety orientation checklist even if they are not climbing. Ensure they wear a wristband. Everyone must pay for their Day Pass, even if they are just hanging out. You may bring up to 4 paying Guests at a time during Member Hours. All Guests must pay for a Day Pass. Please be sure that they bring money for both the Day Pass and Shoe Rentals. If your guests have a Free First Visit coupon, they may use it to pay for their Day Pass during Member Hours. You must be present at the gym with your Guests at all times. You are completely responsible for their behavior. I agree to indemnify VITAL Climbing Gym from any claims arising from my Guest's participation in any VITAL Climbing Gym activities, per the Climbing Orientation and Visitor Agreement. I Agree Safety and Injuries: You are responsible for your own safety. You may use the telephone located at the check-in counter in case of an emergency. We strongly recommend that you do not climb alone so that if you are injured, someone will be there to help you. No smoking, drugs, or alcohol are allowed at the gym - ever! You may not be at the gym while intoxicated. If you come to the gym under the influence, we will immediately revoke your membership. I Agree Looking out for the Place during Member Hours: If you see anyone breaking any of the rules, speak up and let them know. As a member, you have the authority to do so. Report any incidents to us via email, phone, or online. Call the police if a situation gets out of hand. Do not escalate a confrontational situation. I Agree Other Important Gym Policies: Guests and Members under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a Parent at all times. VITAL Climbing Gym reserves the right to add, delete, amend, or modify this agreement at any time and at its own discretion as it deems appropriate, without obtaining the consent of any Member. From time to time we will close the gym for a few days to make improvements or to set routes for a competition. We may revoke your membership at any time if we think you have violated any of our rules. You are signing up for a monthly membership that will automatically charge your card every month until you cancel. If your payment card expires, this does not mean your membership has been cancelled - our system will automatically continue to try and bill you. Once you update your payment information these payments will process. You are responsible for these payments. You must cancel your membership to avoid being charged. You must cancel your membership at least one day before its renewal date to avoid the subsequent month’s auto-billing. It is the member's responsibility to ensure the membership is canceled, and failure to cancel less than 24 hours before the billing cycle will result in a non-refundable charge for the subsequent month. Cancellations can be done by following the cancellation instructions on our VITAL website, in person at any VITAL location, over the phone, or by emailing VITAL staff. Cancellation cannot be done by voicemail. I Agree Building the Community: VITAL is a special place. Help keep it that way by welcoming and encouraging new climbers. We don't want anyone to miss out on this amazing sport because they feel intimidated. I Agree I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS AND IMPLICATIONS.
