We respect the privacy of our guests and the privacy of their personal information. All guest information collected by Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas is governed by our Terms & Conditions. Wildernessridgetrailllamas.com Visitors - Primarily, we collect volunteered information using interactive forms. When requesting information from us we ask for the following information: your name, email address, phone number, and referral source. Users of wildernessridgetrailllamas.com also have the choice to provide more information regarding their interest in Wilderness Ridge Trail Llama Adventures and our partner companies Wildland Llamas and Wildland Trekking. When requesting to join the Wilderness Ridge Trail Llama mailing list, we also collect your name and email address. Using third party partners, Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas may also retain and analyze certain visitors' information regarding the use of wildernessridgetrailllamas.com and the services available therein. Information collected may include but is not limited to website traffic volume, frequency of visits, type and time of transactions, type of browsers, type of operating system, geographical data of visitors, demographic data of visitors, page visits, website referral data, Cookie data, and live chat transcripts. 

E-Mail - We collect the e-mail addresses and certain personally identifiable information of those who communicate with Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas Company via e-mail. 

Registration Forms - Guests will be given the opportunity to submit their required personal information via our Registration Forms. Although different information is required for different destinations and trip styles, the Registration Forms can ask for the following: payment information, emergency contact information, past medical history, current medications, physical limitations, signed medical release, dietary preferences, passport information, arrival information, departure information, and a Release of Claims.

In consideration of the services of Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas, their agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as “WRTL”), I agree as follows:

                  I certify that I am fully capable of participating in this activity. Therefore, I assume and accept full responsibility for myself, including all minor children in my care, custody, and control, for bodily injury, death or loss of personal property and expenses as a result of those inherent risks and dangers identified herein and those inherent risks and dangers not specifically identified, and as a result of my negligence in participating in this activity.

                   In consideration of participating in the Event, I waive and release WRTL, its employees, agents, volunteers, successors, and assigns, if any, from all claims for any liability, injury, loss, or damage in any way connected with my participation in the Activity, whether or not caused in whole or part by the negligence or other misconduct of any of the organizations or individuals mentioned above.

I acknowledge that hiking with llamas and being around llamas has inherent risks, hazards, and dangers for anyone that cannot be eliminated, particularly in any type of environment. I UNDERSTAND THAT WITHOUT THESE RISKS, HAZARDS, AND DANGERS INCLUDE WITHOUT LIMITATION:

1.   The propensity of the animal to behave in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death to persons on or around them;

2.   The unpredictability of the animal's reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement and unfamiliar objects, persons or other animals; Certain hazards such as surface and sub-­‐surface conditions; Collision with other animals or objects.

                   Medical Treatment: I hereby release and forever discharge WRTL from any claim whatsoever which arises or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid, treatment or service rendered in connection with my participation in the event.

I have carefully read, clearly understood and accepted the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate and for all members of my family, including minor children.

All Day Event

AUCTION PURPOSE & GOAL: We hope to provide those interested in starting their llama herd or growing their herd an opportunity to purchase working llamas at a fair market value. We will be offering over 40 WRTL bred llamas for sale at the event. Ages will vary from 12 months to 10 years old. There are many waiting lists out there for llamas now and we are trying to provide an open platform for those able and willing to get into llamas. We are hoping to offer this rendezvous and auction on an biennial basis.

We will also be raffling away some great prizes and have a silent auction. If you have llamas, or gear and equipment that you would like to sell at this event please call Beau Baty 208-270-7749. We are also accepting donation items for the silent auction.

Rules and Regulations

1. All livestock buyers and sellers should read over and become familiar with the Llama packing Handbook. The llama manual will be sent to you after you register for the event and auction.

2. All animals must be identified in accordance to their ownership dates by the ILR or have proper documentation dating their DOB, pedigree and health history (in the health history please include all vaccinations and dates they were given).

3. All llamas must have an identification tag or microchip in the ear at the time of entry in the WRTL 2024 Llama Auction.

4. All llamas entered into the auction must be halter trained, lead on a loose lead and follow handler, be saddle and pannier trained and go in and out of trailer with ease. 

5. ANY animals that are not properly cared for prior to the auction will not be sold.

6. ANY animals that are not properly cared for after the auction will disqualify the buyer or seller from the sale for the following year.

7. All sellers selling an animal at the Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas 2024 Auction MUST be present in the ring, at the sale. Sellers must also provide buyers with proper fitting halters and lead ropes of each llama being sold.

8. All llamas sold at the Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas 2024 Auction become property of the buyer at the point of the purchase which is when money has exchanged hands.

9.The sale fee will be deducted from the sale price. All sale fees/commission will be made payable to Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas. Commission rates paid to WRTL as follows: Flat rate of $350/llama. All commission are due after the auction by June 30, 2024.

 10. SALE ETIQUETTE It is not the responsibility of anyone to buy an animal at the auction, but it is a privilege for the seller to have someone buy it. With that in mind, sellers should never harass, complain or jeopardize a potential buyer in any way. It is also the Seller’s responsibility to thank the person or business who purchased their llama.

11. All llamas must be transported to their final destination no later than June 30, 2024. This is 10+days after the auction has completed. Our local vet will be on site to give llamas proper health work for where they will be traveling. This cost is taken care of by WRTL. Please reach out to Beau Baty if you have any questions about how llamas will be or can be transported 208-270-7749.

a. Never jeopardize a friendship during the auction, be courteous and polite to all others during the auction

b. ALWAYS be courteous to bidders, buyers, sellers and by-standers attending the auction. Don’t be afraid meet and greet your neighbor. You never know they just might be your next good friend. After all, we all love llamas and are at the event because we share something in common. Please keep this in mind.

c. Each person that is registered for the auction will be given a bidding paddle with a number that is tied to their registration number. You must have your paddle when bidding on llamas. You will be given your paddle the morning of the auction at check in.

We are updating our website and more particular our website store with many of our new products. Look to see this update about April 15th. We have had our online store shut down since Beau got cancer in 2019. Now after 5 years and thousands of trail miles and hours of R&D we are now ready and have built up inventory of our not before seen llama products and of course the old faithful products that have lasted the test of time. We will have many of these items available for purchase, pre-order and for sale at the event. Our goal is to try and use the next 6 months to build inventory on the items that you might be interested in.
