Follow all the studio rules of the Commonwealth Circus Center Policies here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17MhBNYlzYTvU4MO0mvHQNhf8mmQLkRvrMAS_hASsNgY/edit I Agree ATTENDANCE I agree to the following: I will honor the commitments I have made to the troupe and my teammates. I will attend all Kirkos classes and performances. If I have a transportation issue or scheduling conflict, I will communicate with Circus Up staff as much in advance as possible. Ideally at least one day before class or a show. I understand that excused absences might include being sick, having no ride to class, etc. These must be communicated ahead of time to Circus Up staff. It is up to the discretion of Circus Up if there are too many absences on any kind (excused or not) and how that will affect short and long term participation in Kirkos classes and shows. I understand that Kirkos members are only allowed five (5) unexcused absences from Kirkos practice times per year. Unexcused absences are missing practice/performance without a good reason, and advance notice. If I accrue more than three (3) unexcused absences from regular practices, or one (1) from a performance, or if I am late an excessive amount of times, Circus Up has the right to take me out of the troupe temporarily or permanently. I Agree PERFORMANCES I agree to the following: I will arrive no later than the agreed-upon student call time for shows. If I have a transportation issue or scheduling conflict, I will proactively communicate with Circus Up. I will make sure I am dressed, ready (including having a full water bottle set for the show), and have placed my props at least 15 minutes before the show. I will not talk down to, boss, distract, or be rude to other performers, coaches, or attendees. I will speak kindly and respectfully to the other performers, coaches, volunteers, and audience members. I will not distract anyone by behaving inappropriately or drawing attention to myself when it is not my turn to perform. I will do my best to be quiet, calm, and kneeling when I am not actively performing during the show. I will pay attention to and cheer for my teammates when they perform. I will support and be helpful to other performers. I will not have side conversations with people who are performing or other people watching the show. I will not get on equipment during the show unless it is my turn to perform on it. I understand that in between acts, I may drink water, get chalk or rosin as needed, or ask a coach a question. I will assist coaches with setup and cleanup. I will “Smile and style!” I Agree |
