Waiver of Claims (collectively the “Waiver”) 

THIS AGREEMENT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, READ IT CAREFULLY 


Every customer of, or visitor to Spring Lake RV Resort LTD. must read and complete this Waiver before being on the premises and before participating in any Activities (as defined below). 

  1. Understanding: I understand that this Waiver is made for the benefit of Spring Lake RV Resort LTD. 499 Lakeside Drive Spring Lake Alberta Canada T7Z2V5 and each of its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, officials, lessees, and agents (collectively, the “Campground”). I am a Customer of the Campground regardless if I pay to participate in Activities of the Campground, am a guest at the Campground or if I am visiting the Campground (all the “Customer”). I acknowledge that if I am accompanied by a minor then I confirm that all statements made herein are being made on behalf of such minor and are complete and truthful.  
  2. Risks: I understand that there are inherent risks (“Risks”) associated with the use of the premises and the use of the premises’ facilities, and participation in sports, water sports, swimming, playground, fishing dock, deck surfaces, fitness, instruction, food & beverage services, and all other activities, services, programs or events provided or organized by the Campground (the “Activities”).Pets are permitted on the property and is the pet owner’s responsibility for any injury or health risk whether on leash or off leash.
  3. Watersports, Boating and Swimming:I freely accept and fully assume all responsibility and acknowledge that participating in water sports, water parks, boating and swimming involves known and unanticipated risks that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death or damage to myself, my children, property or third parties. I understand that such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity. I understand there is NO lifeguard on duty at any time. Swim at your own risk. For safety reasons, swimming is not permitted after sunset or before sunrise.
  4. Potential for Injury: I am aware that the Risks include the potential for serious personal injury, death, or property damage. I understand the Risks may be relative to my own state of fitness and health (including physical, mental and emotional), and to the awareness, care and skill with which I conduct myself. 
  5. Assumption of Risk: I freely accept and fully assume all responsibility for all Risks and possibilities of personal injury, death, property damage or other loss resulting from my participation in the Activities. I accept these Risks and agree to the terms of this Waiver, even if the Campground is found to be negligent or in breach of any duty of care or any obligation to me in any way in respect of the Activities. 
  6. Parental Supervision of Children: I acknowledge, represent and agree that it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to supervise children and ensure their safety during any and all activities and at all times while on the Campground premises. 
  7. Waiver of Claims and Release: In addition to consideration given to the Campground for my participation in Activities and for being on the Campground property, I and my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns (collectively my “Legal Representatives”), agree: 
  8. a. to waive all claims that I have or may have in the future against the Campground; 
  9. b. to release and forever discharge the Campground from all liability for all personal injury, death, property damage or other loss resulting from my participation in Activities due to any cause, including but not limited to negligence (failure to use such care as a reasonably prudent and careful person would use under similar circumstances) either passive or active, breach of any duty imposed by law, breach of contract or mistake or error of judgement of the Campground; 
  10. c. to release and forever discharge the Campground from all liability for all personal injury, death, property damage or other loss resulting from any infectious disease, virus, bacterium or other microorganism (whether asymptomatic or not);  
  11. d. to release and forever discharge the Campground from all liability for all personal injury, death, property damage including any mutation or variation thereof;  
  12. e. to be liable for and to hold harmless and indemnify the Campground from all actions, proceedings, claims, damages, costs, demands including court costs and costs on a solicitor and client basis, and liabilities of whatsoever nature or kind arising out of or in any way connected with my, or my guests or any minor at the Campground with me participation in Activities. 
  13. Application: I agree that this Waiver shall remain in full force and effect for all visits by me from May 1, 2025- October 1, 2025 to the Campground whenever they occur and that entry onto the Campground property is conditional upon agreeing to the terms of this Waiver. 
  14. Governing Law: I agree that this Waiver and all terms contained within are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta. I hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta. Any litigation to enforce this Waiver must be instituted in the Province of Alberta. 
  15. Confirmation: I confirm that I have had sufficient time to read and understand each term in this Waiver in its entirety, and have agreed to the terms freely and voluntarily. I understand that this Waiver is binding on myself and my Legal Representatives. I confirm that I have reached the age of majority in the Province of Alberta. 


Reservation Information


CHECK IN: Upon arrival, please pull over towards the far-right side for check in process.

*PLEASE DO NOT STOP IN FRONT OF THE GATE*

A representative will approach you at your vehicle to complete your check in and escort you to your site.


Pre-ordered firewood: Firewood will be delivered at time of check-in.


No refunds: Refunds will not be issues due to inclement weather conditions or fire bans in effect.

For your convenience, we accept Debit/Credit card payments at your site. No cash.

Please call us if need firewood, ice or pizza for complimentary delivery.


GATE HOURS:The Resort is gated, and no vehicle access is permitted between 10:00pm-8:30am.

These hours may adjust during the low peak season. Please visit our website or APP for up-to-date office hours.

We kindly ask your latest arrival be at least one hour prior to office closing time.


RATES: All rates are based on two (2) adults and one (1) RV unit.

Additional adults: $10.00 per person, per night.

Full payment is required at time of booking, including a non-refundable $14.00 reservation fee. All Rates are subject to change at any time.

Minimum Night Requirement: Two (2) nights and Three (3) nights on long weekends. Some restrictions may apply.


NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER SITE: Maximum of six (6) occupants per site.


RV SITE LOCK FEE: While we guarantee your chosen site type our automated optimization system may change your site location.

You can guarantee your chosen site location by paying an optional lock fee of $20.00 (some restrictions may apply).

Please note this lock fee is non-refundable.


RESERVATION CHANGES: Any changes to your reservation dates will incur an amendment fee of $20.00 per change. All extended stays must be confirmed at the office and are subject to availability.


TENTING: Tenting is NOT permitted at Spring Lake RV Resort. We are strictly an RV Resort only.


WATERCRAFT: There is a 12 km/hr speed limit on the lake for safety and enjoyment. Registered campers are permitted to bring their own watercraft (ex: canoe, kayak, paddleboard) during their stay.


PARK INFORMATION


SWIMMING: Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty at any time. Swim at your own risk. For safety reasons, swimming is not permitted after sunset or before sunrise.


GLASS BOTTLES: Glass containers are not permitted in the beach area, boat launch, or playground for safety reasons.


CANNABIS: To ensure a family-friendly environment for all of our guests, cannabis smoking is not permitted on the property.


MAXIMUM SPEED: For the safety of all our guests, the speed limit is 10 km/h. Please always be mindful of children and pets in the area.


WIFI: Our resort does not offer Wi-Fi service at the RV sites. However, complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the office/store for your convenience. 


SUPERVISION: All children must be supervised at all times, especially in and around the water. Additionally, children must return to their campsite by 10 PM unless accompanied by an adult.


GARBAGE & RECYCLE: Bins are provided for garbage disposal at Spring Lake RV Resort Ltd. Please ensure all garbage is placed in appropriate containers and disposed of properly. Kindly do not litter.


FIREWORKS: Fireworks are not permitted at Spring Lake RV Resort due to a local bylaw in the village.


GENERATORS: Generators are only permitted on our non-serviced sites. They may only be used when necessary during the day. Additionally, generators must not be used between the hours of 10 PM and 8:30 AM.


RESPECTFUL INTERACTIONS: Our entire team is dedicated to ensuring you have an exceptional experience during your stay. We pride ourselves on fostering a respectful environment for all campers, visitors, and staff. To maintain this, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.


NO DRONE POLICY: To protect the privacy of our guests and ensure an enjoyable experience for all, Spring Lake RV Resort has a strict no-drone policy.

Drone usage is not permitted on the property unless specifically authorized by management.


QUIET HOURS & SECURITY SERVICES: To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM and are strictly enforced. This includes a no-music policy during these hours. Security services are available. If you need assistance after hours, please call 780-963-3993.

VISITOR POLICY

  • All guest visitors must register at the office upon arrival to receive valid vehicle tag.
  • Additional charges apply, and a waiver must be completed prior to entry.
  • A $10.00 fee per vehicle applies for daytime visits and is valid until 10:00 PM
  • If your guest is staying overnight, a $10.00 per person fee will apply.
  • Registered campers are responsible for their visitors’ behavior while at the Resort.


PETS

  • Pets are not permitted on the beach or in the swimming area. If you would like to allow your pet to enjoy the water, please head to the boat launch area. For the safety and comfort of all guests, please ensure that pets are kept on a short leash and are never left unattended. Please remember to clean up after your pet to help us maintain a tidy and enjoyable environment for all guests. Waste baggies are provide at various receptacles throughout the resort for your convenience.
  • Pet Fee is $5.00 per day per pet (this includes visitor pets).
  • Cabin Pet fee is $20.00 per day per pet (this includes visitor pets).


CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Reservations must be cancelled at least fourteen 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date and can only be processed over the phone.
  • No refunds will be issued after the fourteen 14 day cancellation period. No Exceptions. –
  • All long weekend bookings are non-refundable.


CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES

  • Check in time begins at 2:00pm
  • Check out time is 11:00am.
  • Late Check-out: Please inquire with the office for availability. Additional charges may apply for late checkouts.


LAKEVIEW CAMPING CABINS

  • During peak season, our Cabins & Adjacent RV Parking Pad are booked together. If you would like to book a Cabin only, please contact the office at 780-963-3993 for availability.
  • Our Cabins are expected to be left in the same condition as upon your arrival. Any damages, extra cleaning or missing items will result in charges to the customer on file.

Our Cabins Are Rustic & Do Not Have Running Water or Washroom Facilities. However, a washroom and shower building is located just steps away from the cabins for your convenience.


I have read and fully understand and agree to all the terms and conditions of this Waiver and Policies. I have explained the risks, dangers and hazards to members of my group that will be on the property.
