• Barn opens at 7am and closes at 8pm • Drive slowly – 10 mph max • Be courteous of other boarders and staff • Protective headgear (helmets) must be worn by anyone under the age of 18 unless parent is onsite. · Absolutely no smoking anywhere at the barn or on the property · NO Open toed shoes! Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. · Only Weston Equestrian approved and insured trainer(s) are allowed. If you do not have liability insurance, don’t try and teach your buddy. All new riders and any other visitors must sign a release form upon arrival at Weston Equestrian. • Children must be closely supervised. If your children are a problem and could compromise their safety, the horses safety and/or other rider’s safety, you and your children will be asked to leave. This includes running both inside and outside of the barn(s), wandering into paddocks, the feed room, hay and machinery storage, etc. Stables contain many dangerous objects such as chemicals, drugs and machinery. Horses do not always understand the high spirited antics of children and can react in a way that may hurt themselves, their rider, or your child. Do not ride on the neighbors property, stay on the road or designated trails at all time. • ***CLEAN UP after yourself and your horse in aisle ways, cross ties, parking lot and wash stalls (including the drain). Please do so before you ride and when you are done riding so it is clean for other boarders. ***Return all tools to where you got them (pitch forks, muck tubs, shovels, etc) • BE COURTEOUS TO ALL STAFF. • Please remove your horses manure from the indoor/outdoor arena after riding to help reduce dust over time. • No dogs (other than owners and staff that have been approved) are allowed around the barn without a leash and prior approval of management. Owner of dog takes full responsibility of dogs’ actions at all times and will not hold Weston Equestrian responsible if injury of any kind happens to dog while on Weston Equestrian property. • Any perceived form of abuse of your horse by you will result in immediate revocation or your riding privileges and notice of prompt removal of your horse from this facility. • Boarders are welcome to use the tack room and laundry rooms. Please provide your own liquid laundry detergent. You may keep it in the laundry room with your name on it if you wish. • Hay storage, feed room and equipment storage area are off limits. If you need something, please ask a Weston Equestrian staff member for permission and assistance. - You may be in the feed room to restock your horses supplements but taking any grain for any reason without permission is not allowed.
• Turn out must be approved by management/staff (boarders are not permitted to turn their horses out in the fields without staff approval or after the horses have come in for the day - you are welcome to recess your horse in the arenas and round pen) – turn out will be assigned daily – horses are only permitted in assigned turn out. **THIS INCLUDES DAYS THAT THERE IS BAD WEATHER!! · Do not feed or pet another boarder’s horse unless you have the owners permission. There are many horses that have dietary and behavioral restrictions. · Do not lead horses from motorized vehicles. This is a liability issue. - Close all gates that you open. This includes the turnout pens/fields.
