Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any events, classes, experiences, activations, pop-ups, or other activities organized, hosted, or facilitated by Paws of Zen LLC (also referred to as Paws of Zen) (collectively, the “Events”), I agree, on my own behalf and, if applicable, on behalf of any minor(s) under my supervision, to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk, Release, and Indemnification

• I understand that participating in the Events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical movement, activity-based participation, the presence of live animals (dogs), interaction with other attendees, and conditions of the venue or surrounding environment. I voluntarily accept and assume all such risks associated with attending and participating.

• To the maximum extent allowed by law, I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims against Paws of Zen LLC, including its affiliates, venues, landlords, organizers, contractors, instructors, breeders, partners, employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives, arising out of or connected in any way to my participation in the Events.

• I agree not to initiate or pursue any claims, demands, or legal actions for any loss, damage, injury, expense, or cost related to the Events, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct where such waivers are not enforceable under applicable law.

Safety Risks Involving Live Animals

• I acknowledge that live animals will be present at the Events. I understand and accept the risks this may involve, including but not limited to scratches, bites, trips, falls, allergic reactions, or unexpected animal behavior, even when reasonable safety measures and supervision are in place. I also acknowledge the organizer’s commitment to maintaining the health and safety of the animals involved.

• I agree to follow all staff instructions regarding animal interactions, safety rules, and designated areas. I understand that failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event without refund.

Fitness and Participation Acknowledgement

• I confirm that I am physically capable of participating in the Event and will only engage in activities within my personal limits. I understand that I may stop participation at any time.

Photo and Video Release

• I grant permission to Paws of Zen LLC to capture and use photographs, video, or other media that may include my likeness during the Events, without compensation. I understand that all such materials are owned by Paws of Zen LLC and may be used for marketing, promotional, editorial, or commercial purposes across any media now known or later developed.

Personal Belongings

• I acknowledge that live animals will be present and that personal belongings may be at risk of damage, loss, or interaction. Paws of Zen LLC is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during the Event, whether caused by animals or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, clothing, bags, shoes, jewelry, glasses, and electronic devices.

• While storage options may be available at some venues, Paws of Zen LLC assumes no responsibility for any items stored or left unattended. Participants are encouraged to secure valuables and avoid bringing irreplaceable or high-value items.

Marketing Communications

• By signing this waiver, I consent to receive emails and updates regarding Events, services, and promotions from Paws of Zen LLC. I understand that I can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting the company directly.

Participant Confirmation

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old, or that I am the parent or legal guardian of a participating minor where applicable. I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver in full, agree to its terms voluntarily, and understand that I may be giving up certain legal rights.
