Promised Love Goldens Stud Service Agreement


This agreement is entered into between Promised Love Goldens (“Stud Owner”) and the undersigned Bitch Owner (“Owner”) regarding the breeding of the female dog (“Bitch”) to the male dog (“Stud”).


1. STUD INFORMATION

• Name: Dutch

• Breed: Golden Retriever

• Registration: (AKC #)

• Health Testing: CHIC Certified (hips, elbows, eyes, heart, and genetic testing completed)


2. BITCH REQUIREMENTS

The Owner agrees that the Bitch:

• Is in good health and free of contagious disease

• Is of appropriate age, condition, and temperament for breeding

• Has completed appropriate health testing for the breed, including hips, elbows, heart, eyes, and genetic screening

• Has current vaccinations and/or appropriate titer testing

Promised Love Goldens reserves the right to refuse service if the Bitch does not meet these standards.


3. BREEDING METHOD

All breedings will be conducted via Artificial Insemination (AI/TCI).

Promised Love Goldens does not offer live cover breedings to outside females.

Breeding may be performed by:

• Shipment of fresh chilled semen

• In-person side-by-side arrangement within the State of Texas, coordinated with a licensed veterinarian

All timing will be based on progesterone testing and veterinary guidance.

Timing responsibility rests solely with the Bitch Owner and their veterinarian. Promised Love Goldens is not responsible for missed timing, improper progesterone interpretation, or unsuccessful breeding due to timing.


4. STUD FEE

• Stud Fee: $2,500 (subject to change at any time at the discretion of Promised Love Goldens)

• Payment is due in full prior to shipment or collection

• Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Venmo, Cash, or other agreed-upon method

• No services will be provided until payment is received


5. SEMEN SHIPPING & HANDLING

If semen is shipped:

• The Owner is responsible for all costs associated with collection, packaging, and overnight shipping

• Promised Love Goldens is not responsible for shipping delays, courier errors, or handling once semen has been released

• Semen quality is confirmed at time of collection but cannot be guaranteed once shipped


6. REPEAT BREEDING (LIVE PUPPY GUARANTEE)

A repeat breeding will be offered one (1) time under the following conditions:

• No pregnancy is confirmed

• OR if fewer than three (3) live puppies are produced

A “live puppy” is defined as a puppy that survives at least 72 hours after birth.

Three (3) or more live puppies constitutes a litter and fulfills this contract.

No repeat breeding will be offered once a litter is established under these terms.

Conditions of repeat breeding:

• Repeat breeding must be used on the same Bitch unless otherwise agreed in writing

• Repeat breeding must be used within the next heat cycle or within one (1) year of the original breeding

• No refunds will be issued under any circumstance

 Promised Love Goldens reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer a repeat breeding as a courtesy outside of the terms listed above.


7. VETERINARY & BREEDING COSTS

The Owner is responsible for all costs related to:

• Progesterone testing

• Artificial insemination procedures (AI/TCI)

• Veterinary services

• Shipping and handling


8. REGISTRATION & LITTER REQUIREMENTS

• All puppies must be eligible for registration with the appropriate registry (AKC or equivalent)

• Stud Owner will provide required registration information after full payment is received

• Puppies must be raised in a clean, safe, and humane environment


9. BREEDER RESPONSIBILITY

The Owner agrees:

• Puppies will not be sold to pet stores, brokers, or third-party resellers

• Puppies will be placed in responsible, carefully selected homes

• No dog produced will be surrendered to a shelter or rescue


10. NO GUARANTEE OF CONCEPTION

Breeding involves inherent biological variability.

Promised Love Goldens makes no guarantee or warranty regarding:

• Conception

• Litter size

• Outcome of breeding


11. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE

Promised Love Goldens reserves the right to:

• Refuse breeding at any time

• Decline shipment or collection

• Terminate this agreement if it is not in the best interest of the dogs or program


12. FROZEN SEMEN

Frozen semen is not currently available.

Promised Love Goldens reserves the right to offer frozen semen in the future.


13. LIABILITY

Promised Love Goldens is not liable for:

• Injury, illness, or complications related to breeding

• Veterinary procedures or outcomes

• Loss of semen after release


14. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved within the State of Texas.


15. LIMITATION OF GUARANTEE

This agreement does not guarantee conception, litter size, or successful whelping. Breeding outcomes are influenced by multiple factors outside the control of the Stud Owner, including but not limited to timing, veterinary procedures, and the reproductive health of the Bitch.


16. AGREEMENT

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this agreement.
