Student/Industry Membership Courtesy Discount Acknowledgement

 

The following acknowledgement describes the courtesy discount that Sender One Climbing LLC (“Sender One”) will extend to students enrolled in 6 or more units or employees of approved companies on the monthly rates for Sender One’s individual gym membership. The terms and conditions of the courtesy discount are detailed below.

Discount & Audits

Qualified students or employees that wish to sign up as members at Sender One will receive the current discounted monthly rate. 

In order for students to qualify, they must provide the most recent school schedule showing 6 or more units during sign-up and continually during our bi-annual audits. Students will continue at the discounted rate for the following month(s) only if they provide their most recent school schedule and meet or exceed a minimum of 6 units during the bi-annual audits.

In order for employees to qualify, they must provide their most recent pay stub during sign-up and continually during our bi-annual audits. Employees will continue at the discounted rate for the following month(s) only if they provide their most recent pay stub during the bi-annual audits.

A bi-annual audit will be conducted via email for all members receiving a reduced membership rate. In order to continue receiving the courtesy discount, members will need to provide proof of rate in the form of a school schedule with a minimum of 6 units for students and current pay stub for industry members. Members may blur or black out any confidential information as we only need to match the name with the name we have on file.

If a member does not provide proof of rate, the monthly membership rate will revert to the normal monthly membership rate beginning the following month. This may occur at any time and be less than a 30 day notice.

Sender One conducts annual price increases to all memberships. Members will be notified 30 days in advance of our regular annual price increases. Sender One will notify you of any rate changes via the email provided on their Sender One account.

As this is a discount, Sender One reserves the right to revoke this policy at any time and for any reason. Sender One also reserves the right to change the terms of this policy at any time, but only intends to change the terms, if at all, when the policy is periodically evaluated, generally on an annual basis. Active student or employee members will be notified in advance of any changes.

Terms

Unless otherwise stated below, recipients of the discount memberships are otherwise bound by the regular terms of Sender One gym membership.

  • A student must provide proof of enrollment, e.g., a current school schedule, at the time of membership enrollment; and at any time Sender One or its staff request, e.g., for membership rate audits.


  • An employee of an approved company must provide proof of employment, most recent pay stub, at the time of membership enrollment; and at any time Sender One or its staff request, e.g., for membership rate audits.


  • Membership audits happen on a bi-annual schedule; once around March/April, and again around September/October.


Courtesies

As this is a courtesy discount—because we value having students and industry employees as part of our community—we expect recipients of the discount to extend courtesy to Sender One by being valuable and model members of our community. As such, we expect recipients of this courtesy discount to abide by Sender One’s rules, policies, and values; and treat and interact with Sender One and its staff respectfully and courteously.

Sender One hopes that you appreciate this policy and endeavor to reciprocate in kind where possible.
