WARNING: BMX AND MTB ARE DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES. BY ENGAGING IN THESE ACTIVITIES, THE PARTICIPANT ASSUMES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY—YOU MUST READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE SIGNING AND RIDING OAS. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SIGN THIS WAIVER.

I acknowledge that I voluntarily have applied to participate and use OAS. I understand that the act of BMX and MTB involves known and unknown risks of death and injury to me and other people as well as damage to my equipment and personal property. I agree to accept and assume responsibilities, and injuries, death, illness or damage to myself or my property arising from my participation in these activities.

I further understand that the committee, members, affiliates, family members, coaches, assistance coaches and other users of the OAS, landowners and the Stunt Park assume no liability for loss, damage, or any kind of injury sustained by myself or my property while using the OAS or any associated equipment. I therefore assume all risks associated with using OAS, even if they arise from the negligence of the committee, members, affiliates, family members, coaches, assistance coaches and other users of the OAS, landowners and the Stunt Park. My participation in this activity is voluntary and I understand the associated risks. I understand the effect of this waiver and acceptance of risk on my legal rights. Scootering and skateboarding are not permitted.

By signing this release of liability and using OAS, I hereby fully and forever release, discharge, indemnify, waive and hold harmless the committee, members, affiliates, family members, coaches, assistance coaches and other users of the OAS, landowners and the Stunt Park from any and all liabilities, claims, losses, demands, damages, rights of action, suits or causes of action, present or future, resulting from or arising out of my use or intended use of OAS, facilities or equipment. I fully and forever release and discharge OAS, committee, members, affiliates, family members, coaches, assistance coaches and other users of the OAS, landowners and the Stunt Park from any and all negligent acts and omissions in the same and intend to be legally bound by this release. I have carefully read this release of liability and understand and fully agree with its contents.

Media Consent: I hereby agree that I and any associated spectators (including family members and friends) may be photographed or filmed while using OAS and/or attending events. I consent to use of these images and films for all forms of media, including but not limited to social media, including but not limited to social media, promotional materials, and website content, without compensation and without limitation on time or frequency of use. I fully release OAS and its affiliates from any claims regarding the use of my image, likeness, or that of any associated spectators. 

I understand that I must be an active member of AusCycling and Oasis Action Sports Club Inc. to use OAS and will provide my AusCycling membership number.
