X-Ring Security Liability Waiver 


X-RING SECURITY & FIREARMS TRAINING CO., INC.ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
(Hawaii law applies – please read carefully before signing)

Voluntary Participation and Inherent Risks
I wish to enter the premises of X-Ring Security & Firearms Training Co., Inc. (“X-Ring”) and to shoot, observe shooting, or participate in any other activity at the range. I understand that shooting and range activities are inherently dangerous and involve both known and unknown risks that cannot be eliminated, including but not limited to: death, serious bodily injury, paralysis, loss of eyesight or hearing, being shot or shooting myself or others, exposure to lead or other contaminants, ricochets, malfunctions, and falling objects. I expressly assume all such risks.

Range Rules
I have received, read, understand, and agree to follow all X-Ring range rules (posted and provided), including but not limited to the rules listed herein. I understand that failure to follow any rule may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.

  • Always keep your firearms pointed in a safe direction (downrange) at all times.
  • Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  • Always keep firearms unloaded until you are on the firing line and ready to use it.
  • All firearms must have actions open (slide locked back) when away from the firing line.
  • Know your target and what is beyond.
  • Be sure your firearm is safe to operate. Know how to use your firearm safely. If you don’t know, please ask.
  • Use only the correct ammunition for your firearm.
  • Wear eye and ear protection while on range.
  • Never use alcohol or drugs before while shooting.
  • Smoking, eating, or drinking while inside the range is prohibited.
  • Follow all range employee commands.
  • Be alert for unexpected actions by other people and report unsafe behavior.
  • Shoot only at authorized targets.
  • Never go forward of the firing line.
  • If your firearm malfunctions, leave it at your stall pointed downrange and ask an employee for assistance.
  • No pregnant customers allowed into shooting area due to lead exposure.
  • No rapid fire, shooting on the move, firing from prone or kneeling position, or drawing from holster unless you have passed the X-Ring qualification licensing test.
  • Outside ammunition is prohibited.
  • No children under the age of 13 will be permitted on the range.
  • All minors must be accompanied at all times by their parent or legal guardian.

Release of Liability
In consideration for being allowed on the premises or to use X-Ring facilities or equipment, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, next of kin, estate, and anyone claiming through me, forever release, waive, and discharge X-Ring, its owners, officers, employees, instructors, agents, and landlords from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from property damage, personal injury, or death that occurs while I (or any minor I bring) am on the premises or using X-Ring facilities or equipment—even if caused in whole or in part by the negligence (but not gross negligence or intentional acts) of X-Ring or its personnel, including negligent first-aid or rescue efforts.

Indemnity
I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless X-Ring and the persons listed above from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or attorney fees brought by or on behalf of me, any minor I bring, my guests, or any third party arising from my (or their) presence or activities at X-Ring, even if caused in whole or in part by the negligence of X-Ring.

Responsibility for Minors

I accept full responsibility and liability for the safety and actions of any minor I bring onto the premises. I will ensure each minor reads and signs (or I sign on their behalf if permitted by law) a separate waiver. Minors under 13 are not permitted on the range.

No Warranties / Condition of Facilities and Equipment
X-Ring makes no warranties about the design, manufacture, condition, or suitability of any facilities, firearms, ammunition, or equipment. I accept them “as is.”

Firearms Eligibility
I certify that I am not prohibited by state or federal law from possessing firearms or ammunition (e.g., no felony convictions, domestic-violence misdemeanors, mental-health commitments, restraining orders, etc.).

Governing Law, Venue, and Miscellaneous
This Agreement is governed by Hawaii law. Venue for any lawsuit shall be in Honolulu County, State of Hawaii. If any portion is held invalid, the remainder remains in full force. This Agreement applies to this visit and every future visit unless replaced in writing. It may only be modified in a writing signed by me and an authorized X-Ring representative.
