At FEAST Performance, we train the whole athlete. We are built around the words Faith, Effort, Abide, Strength, and Truth, F.E.A.S.T: F – Faith (Goal) - We want faith to see it through. We believe in the long‑term process, not just short‑term results.
- We believe in what we are doing
- We believe in something bigger than ourselves. The world does not revolve around you
E – Effort (Standard) - We train for speed and intent. We expect maximum physical and mental effort.
- When we ask you to sprint, you sprint as fast as you can. When we ask you to jump, you jump with as much effort as possible and so on.
A – Abide (Goal) - We want to stick to the process and remain in the thick of it even when you do not feel like it.
- If you abide in these goals and standards over time, and when you do, you will see fruit from it—on the field, in the weight room, and in life.
S – Strength (Standard) - We are strong mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually.
- Strength is not just weight on the bar; it is how you handle adversity, how you treat people, and how you stand on your values.
T – Truth (Goal) - We aim to live in truth. You are truthful with me, your parents, your teammates, and most of all yourself.
- Truth is the only way we can coach you well and the only way you can grow.
Policies 1. Session Logistics & Preparation - Sessions are 60 minutes. Groups may occasionally run up to 10-15 minutes long based on training needs.
- We have a hard start time. Training begins at the scheduled time, not when you walk in.
- Athletes are expected to arrive at least 5 minutes early to tie shoes/cleats, use the restroom, get water ready, and work on assigned areas (mobility, activation, etc.).
- Bring water, cleats (if applicable), and athletic shoes.
- No lifting in crocs, slides, or non‑secure footwear.
- If an athlete is late more than three times, FEAST Performance reserves the right to reduce or reassign their training time and prioritize athletes who consistently respect the schedule.
2. Attendance, Cancellations & Make‑Ups - 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
- No‑shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full, except in true emergencies (serious illness, family emergency, etc.).
- Grace will be given in emergency situations, understanding that there may also be times when the coach has an emergency and needs to cancel or reschedule.
Semi‑Private / Small‑Group Training - If you need to cancel a semi‑private/small‑group session, you are expected to make it up within the same week to stay consistent with the training plan.
- Make‑ups are subject to group availability and must be scheduled with communication in advance.
Group Training Schedules - Example: If an athlete is in a 3x/week group (Mon/Wed/Fri) and cannot attend Friday, they may attend a Thursday group if space allows and with prior communication.
- Group schedules are set based on the majority of athletes, not individual preferences.
- If the majority of a group is off school on a Friday, the group time may be moved (e.g., from after‑school to morning). Athletes whose schedules do not align will need to:
- Join another available group time that week, or
- Accept that they may miss that session.
3. Payments & Billing - Billing is done monthly, either:
- On the first Monday of each month, or
- Prorated at the start of training if beginning mid‑month.
- Payment is due before training happens.
- Sessions do not rollover to the next month
- Once a billing cycle has started, training for that cycle is expected to be completed.
- Example: If an athlete is scheduled for 8 sessions in a month, the plan is to complete 8 sessions that month, not 4, so the athlete can get the intended results.
- If scheduling only allows for a partial month (e.g., going back to college, extended vacation), this must be communicated at least one week before the start of the month so the plan and billing can be adjusted.
- Training will be paused after 90 days of non‑payment until the balance is cleared.
4. Environment, Parents & Conduct - FEAST Performance is a focused training environment. To protect that environment and each athlete’s ability to work, sessions are closed to spectators.
- Parents are welcome to drop off, pick up, and communicate with the coach outside of training times, but are not on the floor or in the training area during sessions.
- FEAST Performance reserves the right to remove an athlete from any session if unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive behavior occurs that interferes with the safety or progress of others.
- In this case, there will be no refund for training up to that point.
5. Communication - Primary communication is via text message.
- Please do not use email or social media DMs for scheduling and training communication.
- Messages will typically receive a response within 24 hours
- For weather issues or schedule changes, FEAST Performance will communicate by text.
- If you do not receive a message, assume that the schedule has not changed.
6. Scheduling Flexibility - FEAST Performance reserves the right to adjust group times, group compositions, or training locations as needed based on numbers, facility access, and seasonal demands.
- On occasion, sessions may need to be rescheduled or cancelled by the coach.
- In these cases, it will be communicated and a make‑up session will be offered.
7. Medical History & Safety - Athletes and parents must disclose all relevant medical history, including but not limited to:
- Previous or current injuries (sprains, fractures, muscle strains, etc.)
- Concussions or head injuries
- Surgeries or major medical procedures
- Heart or respiratory conditions
- Any other condition that could affect safe participation in sports performance training
